Kel, so glad your appointment went well. Glad to hear you are both still happy and healthy.

Can't wait to pick up our compactum this weekend. DF's sister still has hers (her son is 9 now), and is getting it out of storage for us.
Soon as that's home I can start rearranging baby's room.
We've got almost everything, just can't unpack it all yet. There's just too much dust on the plot.
Funny thing tho... I was going through my checklist, and found to my surprise we haven't gotten a bath yet!

Kiara, I'm kinda with you on that one. I like the baby showers, and the gifts and so on, but I'm really not fond of the games they play.
My colleague here at work had to eat babyfood mixed with rice crispies every time she couldn't guess who a gift was from.... Ewww no thanks.

30 weeks today... So close... yet it still seems so far!

Angie, my last shower was not fun. The games and dressing up are just not my thing. I did not enjoy it for one second. I don't want to go through that again.

My mom is planning a family baby shower for the 4th of July & seems like everyone is getting excited!

I can't wait to start sorting out my little boys room! You ladies are getting me super excited!! Will have to wait for after my baby shower weekend though.. Moving into our new place 1 July, then baby shower on the 4th

This weekend I viewed & ordered his cot & compactum at least. There's this lady in Cape Town that has her own business making cots etc. Has a special going at the moment - sleigh cot & compactum for R2600, which is much better price than the shops I've looked at!

Final update: went for my scan this afternoon. Little boy is growing well! 1,2kg & amniotic fluid is sufficient. Hubby was a bit annoyed because dr did scan quickly & he didn't get to see much. Just reminded him that in 10 short weeks he'll get to see him in real life

Bellyh i would pack everything for a nappy change and then clothes in the compactum. you will dress baby there as well, so then you have everything close

its fun that we are already seeing baby shower pics. yet another sign that the end is near.

we had lots of fun over the weekend - attached are a pic of G it is just to gorgeous not to share. he was a big clown over the weekend and played himself to exhaustion so that he even slept through the night
