So glad you exam went well Ctelly! Enjoy the time off now!

Hmmm... I'm nearly at the 30 week mark, wonder if I get a Dischem card now if I can still register. Probably can right?

Winter has arrived. And omw it's cold here today.
We stay on a little plot outside Witbank, and when we went out this morning, the car was frozen over completely. I have a little metallic blue Atos, and it was so frozen there wasn't even a speck of blue visible under the ice.
-4 degrees on the plot!!!!!
Tried defrosting the windscreen with the hosepipe, but the water was freezing even as it hit the windscreen.
Eventually had to put the heaters on full blast and leave the car running for 10min while running water on the windscreen just to get the ice off.
Even our road was frozen. One would think a dirt road wouldn't really freeze, but we could clearly see the layer of ice across the road.
Made driving to town so DF could drop me off at my colleagues pretty scary this morning.

I still feel frozen, and I'm too scared to put the aircon in my office on. After the slight cold at the beginning of the week I'm scared of getting flu.
So here I sit, thick jacket and hot water bottle. While everyone else bakes under their aircons...
Hoping it warms up a little later.

now i cant wait for my dischem bag. i will go ask them, with my previous one i never got the sms.

BoomBoom, you can still go register. you will just have to spen the R300 after you've registered. but just do it as soon as possible.
do't think you will get the bag if you only register after baby is born.

today winter has really arrived here in PTA. i must say, i just love being pregnant in the winter. i am already getting warm and i haven't even dressed very warmly.
i got 2 long sleeve T-shirt tops at PnP clothing for R50 each, so i got 1 size bigger and it fits really nicely, with room for this belly to grow.

And of course the travel changing mat

Hallo Ladies.. wow I'm "out" 2 days and my inbox is flooded with messages (I enjoy all of them!) I just came back from my exam, it went well.. I feel so relieved.. think I might feel guilty at night for not studying now.. haha. I'll post my belly pic soon. Tomorrow I enter the 30th week jippee! and Saturday is my baby shower. feels so close now. I also received an sms from Dischem to collect my baby bag. all I did to register was give the lady my loyalty card, then she asked me my due date.. and that was it. I didn't spend R300 specifically on baby products.

If anyone is interested, they did have silent, warm air humidifiers on special at R260 if you want to get to your R300 quickly - at least at the Dischem I went to today (preggie vitamins also add up fast)

You can download the form from their website, but honestly they didn't use the form for me since I already had a loyalty card. I'm not sure if the R300 needs to be spent after activating the Dischem Baby benefit or not, but try calling their customer care line to register and ask (0860 347 243). If you're already 30 weeks, it might just mean you get the bag sooner

I'm only 27 weeks, but applied around 16 weeks and picked up my bag today (see below). There's a matching travel mat inside wa bunch of other things, but I haven't had a good look yet as I'm still at work (popped out at lunch quickly to get it)
