I had a very exhausting evening yesterday, after I got home I was so fatigued, nauseated and sleepy, lol just like Happi I thought this would be getting better around 13 weeks but some times it comes back with a vengeance!!!!

I also am very emotional, can cry over anything, lol. I watched a birthing video yesterday and I was so overwhelmed, I just cried with happiness cause I remember how that mum felt for those few second when you just waiting for them to hand you your baby, awww my heart just melts.

I always wonder how many Dec mama's we have in this group? is there a way of finding out?

Hi Zee, welcome and congrats on the pregnancy. Is this your first baby? I don't know gynae's in PTA or Centurion, when I lived in JHB I used one gynae in Garden City who was excellent, and I would highly recommend, but that won't help you.

Zee if you are on medical aid you can ask them to give you a list of gynae's contracted to them but ask around in the main message board it's always nice to hear other mum's personal experiences as well, that's important.

Zaza, I stay near Northgate and I travel to bryanston. Which is +-30-40mins with traffic... With no traffic, under 10mins... But if a robot is out or some kind of obstruction then hourssssssssss Lol...

Happi you not the only one, the last two day suddenly I have been getting very nauseous, not vomiting but nauseous enough to make me get a head ache.

I also thought this would stop by now, but just to let you know I found a pattern, I have a very active baby in my tummy and I notice every time the baby is jumping around inside me is when I get tired and nauseas.

I stay in Little Falls, I work in Randburg, takes about 30mins to get to work, traffic has its days, so it is manageable.

@Zaza, I have felt flutters I think, though there is such a thin line between that feeling and that of gas so at times I cant tell which is which. The week is dragging, Sat just wont get here so I see my pumpkin again

Guys this is so weird, I am having nausea on a serious level, WTH, I am in my 2nd trimester,i min I was mentally ready 4 it the 1st 3 months, and it was minimal and now am feeling so horribel

Happi have you not felt any flutters as yet? at first I didn't know if they were my stomach movements but when the gynae asked me I realised the difference and can feel certain sudden movements from baby. But you are correct the movements are definitely the highlight of second trimester!!!

I also find that ever since I got the 13 weeks I am hungry all the time lol?

hahahahaha @ Lashy I am the same, I feel more inclined to log on to this forum than check my FB, lol.

I think cause here we have a place to chat to people in similar situations. Each pregnancy I think is exciting so even though you a second time mum you still excited to meet the new baby.

So far I got nervous and anxious before every visit to the gynae, not sure why but I think it's just excitement.

How far do you travel to and from work, when I lived in JHB I also used to travel from the East Rand to Randburg, yoh the traffic, this is the biggest change moving to DBN, traffic here is always maximum 30 minutes and at least it moves.

In JHB sometimes it felt like you leave home when it's dark and you arrive home when it's dark, lol but I do miss somethings about it.
