Hay all!

Sorry for taking so long to update!

Scan went okay all the big stuff downs, heart etc look fine and risks are low. Except (and I have never heard of this before)
the risk of fetal growth restriction before 37weeks is high. 1:144 Dr prescribed me to drink halve a baby aspirin daily for the rest of the pregnancy. This should reduce the risk by 50%. This could be the reason why I have been feeling so so so tired to the extend that I feel like passing out. Basically the aspirin will thin my blood and ensure more blood flows through the placenta to
baby so that more oxygen reaches baby.

its scary one of the affects of the growth restrictions is still births. But I am confident all will be fine

AND on a lighter note... Dr said 95% its a girl! Thank you all the thinking pink has worked

I am still coping fine with the heat - my first was born in Feb so this heat is not even a patch! Luckily I also have aircon in my office, my car and my house

Yup Fairychild tomorrow is D-day for me next scan I am 13weeks along. I have mixed emotions about finding out the gender
we really want a little girl... but deep down I think I am carrying another boy... I know a child is a blessing and either or
we will be happy and love him/her just can't help to feel the way I do. But tomorrow we will see perhaps

I am also eating allot whoazer! but not big portions just constantly I cant seem to finish a normal plate I use to but
I want something else to eat like every 20min!

Any of you ladies suffering from the heat? I feel for the mommies that are at the end of their pregnancies and in this heat!

Tanya - that is a beautiful name, my cousins daughter is also Miané. You are going to have so much fun playing dressup!

If all goes well we will only be able to see the gender the first week of January and leaning towards a boy as I already have my girl but I wouldn't mind 2 sisters either

I am also still eating a lot but other than that and feeling extremely irritated no other symptoms really.

Who will be the next one to go for a scan? Mine is on 8 December.

Hi Lavi,

If baby plays with they can tell with about 85% certainty at 12 weeks. They can still get it wrong ar such an early stage. Hope you get your girl. I'll have to try for a girl next time around

I am such an amateur at this - when can you actually find out the gender? I am secretly hoping for a little girl as well, but we will be happy either way!

How is everyone feeling? I think i've doubled my food intake!! I have been so hungry all the time, although no weight gain yet.
