So last time it was different and I didn't have to pack a bag for baby.... Now on the other hand I have to and I have no clue what to pack and how much???

I will be getting the medi clinic bag filled with toiletries etc
Should I take my own too? How many outfits should I take or does the hospital supply and you only take a going home outfit?

first day on maternity leave

Had a good day, left the little one with the nanny and went to watch a movie and walk around the shops a bit.
didn't have to worry about a hubby at home or that I had to leave because it is almost nap time for the little one!

Hubby on the other hand is in a bit of a mood think he is jealous... oops oh well! He he

scary! c section is scheduled for the 30th of May round about 13:30 please remember to keep me in your thoughts and prays!

Hi ladies,

How is everyone doing?

I met the gynae on Saturday who will back up my delivery at Genesis clinic. Everything is still looking good for a midwife delivery. Baby weighs about 2.9kg and doc estimate he will weigh between 3.1 and 3.4kg. 2 more weeks till maternity leave. In the meantime I am writing exams and have a big portfolio due on Friday. Needless to say I'm battling to focus. At least the studying is giving me lots of time on the exercise ball.

Enjoy the maternity leave Liefie. I'm working till the end of the month. Can't wait for the day I put my out of office reply on.

Svdw - that is odd dates as if I remember me and you were round about the same weeks?? but I guess the dr knows
best!
If I can give you one suggestion re the c-section as soon as the nurses let you start moving, get up even if it is just to stand. The longer you stay laying down the more stiff it becomes. Oh and one more thing always take the medication even
when you are not too sore. This is what they told me in the hospital and I can truly say it helped and I really didnt have that much pain, more of a discomfort. - use it don't use it

Tomorrow is my last day at work, so I will be leaving my laptop at work for my stand in so I might be a little quiet but will try
and log in from my phone or hubby's laptop at night.

Thanks for popping in. How are you keeping?

So the Verdict is in!!!! C section on the 14/06/2016 with a sterilization, just cant do pregnancy again lol. This dates is confusing a little because my blood results say due date 15/06/2016 my last period says 15/06/2016 but my gynea says 23/06/2016. So I'm just no sure if I will walk that long. Finally I'm making peace with the c section better scheduled than emergency!
33 days if all goes well then baby is here JIPEEEE
