AFM - 40 weeks 3 days and counting...

Congrats with your little girl Liefie. I think the babies are keeping everyone very busy. I hope your other one adjusts soon. It must be a big adjustment for them and they don't understand it. A few friends have told me how challenging this can be because you can't just get to bit of rest when baby is resting. Good luck!

AFM - 40 weeks today and not 1 single sign that the mister is about to arrive. Having my weekly appointment with my midwife today. I booked an induction session with a reflexologist tomorrow morning to see if that will help to get things going.

sorry for going so quiet Fairychild!

our little girl was born 3.56kg and with a full head of hair!!! We are doing fine and al is going well.
The breastfeeding is also going okay my nipples are rather sore... but I am sure it will get better

How things going on your side Fairychild? Any sign of your little one coming?

The one thing that we are struggling with is my little boy of 18months seems a little left out
he has not really taken to the new addition to the family and when she cries he cries too...
and on top he started with a cold / bad cough over the weekend so he is not feeling to well... I found today
very tiring as soon as I soothe the one the other one starts crying lol it was manic!

How are the others finding the breastfeeding? My new little one is permanently hungry and I kinda feel like a cow

This thread has gone very quite since everyone is busy with their littlies. I hope you are all doing well.

AFM - no sign of my little one coming yet. 3 days till much due date and no mucus plug nothing! He dropped into the pelvis @ 38 weeks an were all the way up at 39 weeks. I really can't wait to meet him anymore.

Congratulations Tanya1! I'm sorry she decided to surprise you while you were far away from your bag but very grateful that you both made a good recovery and went home. Well done on expressing so early while you were both separated.

Looks like I'm the only one still walking? 39 weeks today. Seeing the midwife this afternoon. Will let you know what she says. Physically I'm well, but really can't wait to meet my little boy. Bags are packed and we are ready to go. Hubby installed the base for the car seat on Sunday.

Update on me...went for my routine 2 week check-up and there the news... Baby still breech position, I'm dilated and there is almost no amniotic fluid left! Left all my luggage home (210km away) and dictor said she can't wait and the c-section is scheduled for the next day (25/05). I was in shock and had a lot of arangements to make. Baby was born, but had wet lungs and was placed in the incubator on iv and oxygen. Started to express milk at 12:00 and from there on every 3 hours. The next morning all my "wires" was removed and little Miané was placed in my arms! She weighed 2,81kg at birth and 48cm long. Upon discharge Saturday shevonly weight 2,55kg. We are home and man it's been different!

More will follow, but now my princess needs to be fed. Xxx
