Happy belated birthday MrsGov, hope you enjoy your weekend away.

Lethuwam and Debbie insomnia is the worst, I am the opposite I could sleep the whole day and still feel tired. I really feel for you ladies.

Tanya hope the hip pains ease up and you get to enjoy your pregnancy.

Bea your boys are big, enjoy them. shame about the back pain, & it seems as though physio is not much help. Have they said anything about chiropractor?

Nnita I am on Chelapreg and extra folic acid because of my previous placenta issues so far I am not having any problems with them.

Pokkeltjie enjoy the popcorn feeling, soon you will be feeling stronger kicks.

For some reason I can't seem to see any of your photos, and I don't know why?

Nothing much on my side, just still feel tired and sleepy. The kicks are stronger now and that's a big plus. No weird cravings as well, but still have the aversions to some foods. I do love chocolate

Am I the only one who has not bought anything for baby yet?

Thank you ladies for the birthday wishes, really had a great birthday even though I was at work. My mom prepared a lovely supper and it really was lovely spending time with family. Even though I feel totally tired today. Awaiting for our weekend away

Pokkeltjie - No weird cravings, I like eating a lot of sour things and love eating mango pickle lol but i don't know if that is a craving as i've always loved eating that

TanyaS - Sorry about your hip pain, but I am right with you about being tired! I can barely make it past 8pm

AFM: I haven't had any troubles sleeping, but I have to get up all the time to pee But as soon as i am back in bed I fall asleep. Today I am 19 weeks, I really feel that my tummy has grown so much lately. It feels so tight and I am starting to feel uncomfy in my clothes now I have not bought any maternity clothes as yet, been using my normal clothes, but it looks like I will have to start shopping now. 4 more sleeps till we see our LO on the monitor again. Really cannot wait!

Any other ladies here that does not know the gender as yet?

Winter is back in CPT....cold, wet, snowy weather predicted for us from tomorrow....bbbbrrrrrrr

@ Debbie/Lethuwam - sorry to hear you guys are struggling with insomnia...it's the worst! The birds in the garden wake me up just after 5 and then I lie and listen to them until 6 when I get up...and by 21h00 I am dead tired. So can just imagine how drained you must feel. Hope it eases up a bit for you

@ Bea - that back ache sounds dreadful....can just imagine how tough it must be carrying twins and still struggling with that type of backache. Maybe you should see the physio more often during a week and see if it makes a difference. Hope it eases up for you real soon!

DebbieF, shame man, insomnia is the worst. Where are you based? In Durbanville there are a few antenatal classes, ours was once a week (I think on Wednesdays) for six weeks - it was very comprehensive and very helpful and I would definitely recommend it. Hope your tummy ache is better soon.

Lethuwam, what expo is that? I also want to go.

Pokkeltjie, enjoy the popcorn kicks - that's mostly what I'm still feeling as well - wish I could feel big kicks though, guess I will have to be patient. Good luck with your scan on Tuesday.

Tanya, shame man, good luck with the hip pain, I also get it from time to time. I told my husband yesterday I wish I could stay in bed for the entire day, but it's not an option, because it's just too sore to stay in bed!

Nnita, I'm also on DS24 and I now also take Ferofol because my iron levels are low.

AFM: My back is still killing me. I went for physio yesterday and while it helped while I was there, about an hour afterwards the pain was severe again for the rest of the afternoon and throughout the night. The physiotherapist says it's a back spasm and two sessions should be enough, but I'm not so sure. Only seeing her in a week's time again, don't know if I should call her today to say I'm still in severe pain. The only thing that really helps is a hot water bottle behind my back. She also gave me some basic sitting and sleeping tips and three stretching exercises I should do three times a day. Hopefully all of this will help.

Lethuwam : I am with you on the insomnia, for me it's 4 o clock and can't back to sleep, so annoying cos at 6/7 I am dead tired. Told dh definitely think this baby is going to be born at 4, something to look for to. Hope you get some sleep.

Been meaning to ask you ladies about antenatal /prenatal classes? Our hospital has one but it's only 1 Saturday. Where do I find a more extensive class which covers breathing and other baby issues?

Pokkeltjie thanks dear for the kind words. I can't wait for the baby expo here in ct next Month I want the baby wrap too. I has seen it from few moms before. Almost Friday have a blessed day every one.
