Ello ladies.

We all seem to be in the worry boat, don't know if we will relax until we have our LO's in our hands and then worrying starts all over again,

I am just trying to take it easy and believe that if this meant to be all will be OK.

Welcome to all the new ladies.

Sorry I haven't done personals but I am still trying to remember who is how far, which problems they have and all. Will have to start with notes.

Bea I will keep you in my prayers...my prayer will be for you to calm down and focus on the Creator of those lil munchkins.

I just came back, my doc was away for 2 weks so it was full today.

Everything went well, I am now 13w3d, EDD moved up to 14.01, baby growing very well, all limbs were clear and the chances of Down Syndrome are very less. Did the bloods as well, I was so excited I even forgot about MS

Simmy I am on Asic but now he prescribed something stronger which I will get today.

Welcome to the New mommies, I am rushing to a meeting but I had to start by updating you.

Bea you and the boys are in my prayers. There is nothing to say or do but wait and that sucks....but I am thinking of you. (((HUGS))

TanyaS, OMG hope you get over that bronchitis soon. Sometimes our bodies force us to take it easy even when we think we can't right now...

Hope everyone else is still doing fine.

To my MS partners in crime....My MS is still going strong
Whilst on holiday I religiously took my meds and all was fine until we had to fly back home....I woke up and took the meds I think about 3am...but by 4am I knew that if I did not run for the bathroom I would puke all over the fellow passengers....Let's just say I made it in record time. The air hostess and steward were so sympathetic cracking jokes and trying to lift my spirit. I chatted with them and sucked on lemon slices and had loads of soda water. It actually felt better after that. Lo and behold we land at OR Tambo and its 4 degrees outside bear in mind we come from 38 degrees...

I got home and puked all day. same thing the next day. Then my LB started with a tummy bug which we think might be travellers diarrhea...And DH was sick too. so yesterday was spent at the paed and casualties so that DH could get an IV. The paed just laughed and said that we can't even help one another cos everyone is sick

Today we all feel much better. I will be 10 weeks tomorrow and crossing my fingers that MS won't linger for much longer...

@ Bea, it is hard especially if you have friends & family members constantly phoning you or sending you messages...it's almost
like a constant reminder then. The only thing you can do is to try and relax, take it 1 day at a time and just have faith that it will
all work out and be ok. Focus on your holiday and just try and have a great time! Before you know it, it will be time for your
next scan and hopefully you will get more re-assurance that all will be ok

@ Tanya - hope you feel better....like Bea said, stay in bed an don't lift a finger! Look after yourself and take it easy

@ AnaB & Maryke - congrats and welcome

@ Nnita - good luck with your scan and let us know how it went!

All well on my side....still not much MS....just a wave of queasiness every now and again in the morning. Tummy is growing so fast - trying to hide it from the office but becoming very difficult. Trying to at least hide it until next week after we've been for our scan. Amazing how fast I am showing this time around compared to when I was pregnant the first time

Jooste, thank you, I needed that. Also Pokkeltjie, Simmy, Tanya, AnaB. It's just a lot to deal with and I wish I could just run away instead of dealing with all the messages and phone calls from concerned family members. I know everyone means well, but we can't do anything but wait. But yes, I know odds are on our side, even if you look at 1 in 8 - it's still a 7 in 8 chance that it's not Downs. I'm just concerned about TTTS, but we'll have to take it one scan at a time, and at least today there are procedures that haven't been there three years ago. I also trust my MFM doctor and truly believe I'm in the best possible hands.

AnaB and Maryke, congratulations and welcome to the group.

Tanya, shame man, hope your bronchitis is better soon - just stay in bed and don't lift a finger!

Simmy, congrats on the 10 weeks milestone today

Nnita, good luck with your scan today.

Hope everyone else is doing well.

To all mommas dealing with difficult/scary scans/test..my prayers with you. Can't imagine what you're going through.
