@Musa yes I watched a few natural birth videos and cried a few times - quite amazing. So sorry you aren't feeling to hot, hope you start feeling better soon and also incredibly sorry for your two losses I can only imagine your paranoia, I'm so nervous about any little bit of pain I am feeling at the moment from my head to my toes - I really just need this 8 week Gyne Appointment to come. If anything for a good nights sleep - think my mind is working over time

Thanks amyreally, trying to take it one day at a time. @Megs 1984 natural birth is always a good idea if you can. At least you will be up and about quite quickly

@elayne I am petrified of an epidural haha. I think that scares me more than the entire labour process lol. I would like to give natural birth though. I haven't considered all my options yet...

Oh gosh Musa i can't imagine how you must feel I know its hard not to worry but brown spotting is generally considered fine, spotting is so common in the 1st trimester. And as long as your doc says its fine, just try to relax. Maybe take it easy, no hard labour lol.
Im sure youll be just fine!

Hi Musa1, strange that you mention Dr Moller, I googled him this morning and only found good things. But I plan on phoning my regular gynea tomorrow to see who he recommends and take it from there. I would like to make an appointment asap.

Wow looks like the group has grown since i was last on here. Congrats to all new mommies and hope you will enjoy the journey especially if its your first baby. @Elayne if you are looking for a gynae at Fourways Life Hospital i can recommend Dr Moller who is my Gynae, he is awesome, but you know what they say someone can click with a gyane and another person can think their are awful but im yet to hear a complaint about him. Not sure if he does the water birth option you would need to check.

Anyway im now 8 weeks pregnant and not feeling great at all, my asthma seems to be rearing its ugly head and have this weird brown discharge that my Doc says its happens to some people and its no cause of concern.... But yah having lost 2 precious babies at 20 weeks and 26 weeks respectively you can imagine my paranoia!

It's so nice to have someone in the same boat! We have an awesome gynea that my whole family uses but he's not at one of my medical aid's associated hospitals. I've been researching, I was thinking of finding a gynea at Fourways hospital (Gauteng) because they allow water births and I am seriously considering that.

Have you started thinking of birthing options/plans yet? I know it's still early but I feel most worried about that!
