Congrats amyreally, yes that gives you a lot of independence now to move around i suppose. My asthma has flaired as it usually does during my pregnancies so its a bit tough at the moment hopefully it will ease up soon.

Glad you are feeling better Elayne.

Thanks everyone! I'm feeling a little bit better today, I tried the old wives tale of eating ginger biscuits and it seems to help a bit. I'm going to try take a pregnavit now hoping that it doesn't make it worse again!

How is everyone else doing? Who's scan is next?

Shame Elayne that sounds terrible! Its hard to be happy and excited in this 1st trimester sigh.

Ladies, Dec is gonna fly by and then we'll all be having scans lol.

ElayneO1 wrote: Hi Ladies,

great to read everyone's progress. My first appointment is booked for the 5th of Jan with Dr Moller at Fourawys, I'll be about 10 and a half weeks by then!

I am struggling tremendously with nausea, I can't eat, I've lost weight and feel very light headed all the time. Days at work are feeling very long :( I don't know what to do about this nausea anymore! Even water makes me nauseous sometimes, it's awful!

exactly a month til my scan is a very long wait!

Ahh Elayne :( so sorry you are feeling so awful hopefully it passes by the end of first trimester. I also had it bad with my last pregnancies, i found that eating very bland food helped. Also try eating a cracker before you even get out of bed. What i found was that prgnavit, preg omega and the like aggravated the nausea so rather had Folic Acid on its own and then later in the day had 2 separate pills for iron and Vit B which are the really critical ones you need in the initial stages.

Glad you chose Dr Moller he is my Doc and has been awesome for me, hope you have the same experience. The 10th sounds far but that will be a better a fruitful appointment as you can see a lot more and discuss more :) Hang in there

So sorry you are feeling icky Elayne. Sounds dreadful. I will say I have been pretty lucky I think so far. I had a small "vomay" on Saturday for the first time but I think it was just because I am in a breakfast routine at work and then I strayed from that (didn't get my fibre in). But again, some dry toast... and I came right. Today I have had a headache allllll day and have been light headed too. I hate that vertigo feeling. - But other than all that I seem to be fine.

On the positive side with all your symptoms at least you are having some clear signs of pregnancy. There are days I wonder if I am not feeling enough... does make me a little anxious.
