@Babydreaming that's amazing, any bit of hope we'll take to be quite honest. It was a very good idea to get different opinions. Hang in there honey all hope is not lost.

@Cands, so glad to hear babies are doing ok, how's the nausea?

AFM nothing much to report, I still struggle with nausea in the late afternoon into the evening. I'm 10w2d today.

So I didn't go through with the D&C. I had to see another Dr who was the stand-in for the Dr I saw on Friday.... He asked me if I have bled at all during this pregnancy, which I have not and then he said let's have a look. Did an internal scan and baby is measuring 6w 5d. He said that baby is laying in a funny position therefore I could still be around 8 weeks, he did push on my tummy a bit to see if baby moves but had no luck. Anyways, he picked up a heartbeat, which was strong and we could hear it. I asked him about the hcg and he said that that do sometimes get such results from the lab. I also asked about the abnormalities, he said that their are new tests now that can determine if there are any abnormalities.

Long story short, he advised to wait 2 weeks and re-scan. He seems happy with baby. I must say that his equipment was far more advanced that the previous Dr. I'm also going for a 3rd opinion on Thursday. I can't just accept, I need concrete proof that this baby will not be normal.

@Cands - Glad to hear that you scan went well and that babies are happy!! How's the morning sickness?

Ladies I just want to thank you for all your support during this time. It was the most horrible weekend I have ever had in my life but there is hope.

@Babydreaming, my heart is so broken for you! Sending tons of love your way. I cant even begin to imagine how you feel!

I had my 4D scan on Friday. I am 9 weeks as of Friday, so 9w3d today. Babies were both wriggling so beautifully! They are so little, but so amazing. One is behind the other, so battled to see that one, but had strong heartbeats!!

I hope everyone has a great week. Graduating from Vitalab on Thursday which is so great.

Oh my @ babydreaming, that’s devastating news. You’ve been in my thoughts the whole weekend. I pray that God gives you the strength and wisdom to get through this. I am lost for words. I am so sorry my honey *hugs*

Hi ladies,

Received the worst news today. Hcg only increased by 2000mIU/ml since Friday, Dr said there is a 75% chance of abnormalities and advised a D&C which will be done tomorrow.

Broken my friends.

My heart breaks for you @Babydreaming. I really hope there is some sort of explanation. Oh man, I am so sorry, keeping you in my prayers.
