AFM - I'm feeling good still. Started drinking a preggy shake as well, hoping the extra vitamins helps. My next scan is only the 17th of Sept!!! Should make me just over 12 weeks, the gynae said if I can wait that long he will see me then.... which I highly doubt. Might schedule a scan again the beginning of Sept, just for reassurance as well.

@Babydreaming!! I'm so happy to hear that you went for second and third opinions! It is really wonderfull news. Your baby will be healthy and strong.

My first scan is only on 7 Sept. It feels like a lifetime. I really just want to see the scan to make sure everything is fine and then I will be able to relax a bit.

@Babydreaming OMG, such fantastic news. I am so happy and relieved for you hun. whooaw! Now to focus on bring a healthy baby home. My next appointment is on the 31st August, feel like it's YEARS away, lol.

What an appointment! This baby has either grown 3 or 4 days ahead in 1 day or was measured correctly. I am 7w 3d. The Dr is happy with baby as well and says as long as there is growth we do not do anything. The bloods are not conclusive, we still have to monitor baby closely but it doesn't mean that there are any abnormalities. Baby could just be a slow grower and still be 100% and if need be we can see a fetal specialist later on. The heartbeat was still going strong, he prefers not to listen to it before 12 weeks. They do a full check on mommy as well, which is great, they did find sugar in my urine which has to be watched as well. But I had that with my 1st pregnancy too.

I dont think I will get my VBAC because this pregnancy will now be a higher risk, but that's okay. As long as the baby is healthy and happy. I am so grateful that we got more opinions and that there are Drs that are willing to give this pregnancy a chance.

@ MamaK - Thank you sweets, I wont' give up until they have solid proof that there is something wrong with this baby. Wow over 10 weeks already?! Hopefully the nausea subsides in the 2nd trimester. When is your next appointment again?

@Cands - Yeah hun, I am so relieved. Oh I can imagine that you must be feeling sad about your farewell from Vitalab, they have been so good to you guys. Enjoy your last day with them hey. Shame, I hope you feel better tomorrow.

AFM - It feels like I was hit by a bus, today I am so tired and my head feels heavy. I think yesterday exhausted me so much and today I can feel it. Well I spoke to another gynae today and they advised that I come in today, the reviews on the gynae seems really good. So let's hope I get more positive news this afternoon. I starting drinking a preggie shake as well, the extra vitamins might just help.

@MamaK today I am feeling bad. Yesterday was a good-ish day. Even got to have a custard slice which was so good. 9w4d today. Thursday is my next scan and last one at Vitalab. Very bittersweet as I love the Dr we have been with. but exciting times ahead!!
