Hi Ladies,

@Kels, Namibia was amazing , thank you. Just what hubby and I needed.

@Charma, OMG I am speechless. I am so sorry to hear about your lil sister, that is just SO unfair. Wow, I pray that God gives your family, especially your sister the strength to pull through all of this. I cannot even begin to imagine what this has done to her. I'm terribly sorry.

As for me I'm 33w1d today, and feeling ok, I'm getting A LOT of braxton hicks, not painful but a bit uncomfortable. I consulted with my new midwife for the 1st time last Friday and she's amazing, I am quite pleased with her. Baba is in the right position for natural birth and weighing 2kgs, I hope he doesn't go beyond 3.5kgs O_O...

Morning beautiful ladies!

Compliments of the new season to all of you. Have been out of action for too long. Trust you and your angels are doing great.

I had the most horrible December ever! My little sis and I were pregnant together. She was 3 months ahead of me and her due date was 31 December. On 12 Dec she started experiencing what we thought were labour pains and some bleeding, needless to say we rushed her to hospital. When we got there they couldn't find the baby's heartbeat, scan confirmed baby passed away and we were all devastated. She gave birth to a stillborn baby at 38 weeks.

We are still trying to pick up the pieces but it's hard. She had an easy pregnancy except for morning sicknesses. This came from nowhere.

So yeah, now everybody is worried about me and I am a bit scared. I have decided to be positive and trust in God.

HAPPY NEW YEARS LADIES!!!!

I am so sorry I have been sooo quiet. It has been a bit of an insane time this side.

On 11 December, I felt off. I had period type cramps and sharp pains in my back. I went to my gynae and he did a quick scan and internal. I was in PRE-TERM LABOUR! My cervix was 1cm dilated already and he could see the membranes surrounding babies.

I rushed to the labour ward at Sandton. They put me on the monitors and within an hour, I was in surgery to get a Macdonald stitch inserted to close my cervix. It was the scariest day of my life! I was under general anesthetic and was so terrified as to how my babies would be.

The stitch was successful - thank God! I was in hospital for 11 days to keep monitored and make sure I had no more contractions and that the stitch held.
It was an exceptionally emotional two weeks. I am so glad I listened to my body and went in, else I could have had my twins at 26w4d. I am 29w5d today and beyond grateful to the Dr. He is amazing, professional, sincere and will do anything and everything to keep these two in. I would never go to anyone else.

I was on bedrest until I had a scan last week Thursday. It had been 5 weeks since I last saw them on a scan.
My boy is 1.512kg and my girl 1.257 kg at 28w6d. I am going tomorrow for my 30 week scan! I cannot wait to see them again!! Will be cool to see how they have grown in a week. I am getting nice and big and round.

How is everyone else doing?? Hopefully having a less chaotic past few weeks?

8 weeks left for me. I will have babies the week 22 Feb to 1 March, somewhere there. I will know closer to the time.

Hello ladies,

I hope you and the little ones are all doing well.

Just the last update from myself for the year. I went for my 28weeks appointment this morning, and all is well with baby, he weighs a wopping 1.3kgs and I gained a whole 3kgs in the last month :( .  I also met up with the midwife that my Dr suggested since I'll be going natural again and she's such a lovely lady. I will be consulting with her from now on until birth, with one check-up with my Dr at 37 weeks. It's crazy to think that we are here already. My next appointment is at 32 weeks on the 18th Jan, I can't wait to officially be in the "30 weeks" whooah! Anywho, that's all from me in terms of the pregnancy.

In other news, it's my last day at work today, whoop whoop and we knocking off at 12pm. I'm glad I made it to the final day, I was so tempted to leave earlier in the week because I was just so tired, lol. Hubby and I are off to Namibia, Swakopmund for our lil babymoon, I cannot wait. We leaving on the 26th -2nd Jan, then I'm back to work on the 8th.

Anyway ladies, may you all have a blessed festive season, filled with love, joy and loads of happiness. Wishing you all a safe and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Until we "meet again"in the new year, it's adios from me!
