Morning ladies,

Just popped by to tell you that I gave birth to the most beautiful baby boy ever on 27th Feb at 1950 hrs. We had to do an emergency Csec because of high BP.

Good luck to all you ladies, wishing you a safe delivery!

Hey Ladies,

Just thought I should pop by and see how everyone is doing, I hope we are all still holding on tight, in no time we'll be holding our little angels.

When is everyone's due date? Mine is on the 10th March, but I wouldn't mind this lil guys arriving earlier because shuuu, I just wanna be done with pregnancy already!

AFM I had a final check up with my gynae today, I'll be continuing with a midwife until I give birth. Gynae was very happy with everything, and this boy weighs a whopping 3kgs already, with 3 more weeks to go. Dr reckons he'll be at about the same birth weight as my daughter, she can at 3,52kgs. It's crazy how I still have to get so many things, I've literally been chilling and not buying a lot of things, and I really don't have much time left, lol.

When do you guys plan to start packing your hospital bags? I think I'll pack mine at 38weeks, I'm 36w4d now.

I hope you are all keeping well in this wet Valentines Day!

Wow MamaK that was very much helpful and yes we tend to suffer from fear of the unknown. I also told myself that I don't have to be scared of what I don't n, and either way I will feel the pain either natural or not. The other pain can be during birth and the other after birth, so yeah m doing this thing lol.
Luckily there's an antenatal class taking place this weekend and hopefully will be attending it and will learn what to expect.

@TKM believe me when I say I understand what miscarriage can do to one. My first trimester was just scary and using the toilet was just too much for me. But I told myself that its different pregnancy and different baby and prayed that my baby continue growing healthy and strong.
I believe that God is in charge of everything and all we have to do is pray and believe that He will do the rest.

Hi Ladies ,

Trust all is well.

@Kels i cant really assist there , my 1st child .

@MamaK - Im a week ahead of you , 36 weeks this week . How i wish i could carry full term .

I agree with you, we really let fear take over (esp me ) . Miscarriage really scared me --- big time. Didn't even have , and not planning on having a maternity shoot . Just started enjoying my pregnancy now really --  with two weeks to go lol

Went for my second last check up , baby is 2,7kg , DR is happy -  fibriod is growing as well , which makes sleeping a nightmare !!!

Last week Friday , i took a blankie and went straight to my car to take a nap .... slept for two hours .

Dr booked me off for two weeks (to rest ) before baby arrives .

I hope all the ladies are doing well .... and the bambinos

Hello Everyone,

I don't know if these were of any help but with my 1st pregnancy I started eating loads of pine apple in the week leading up to my labor. I was also squatting a lot using an exercise ball, and would sit and bounce on the ball while watching tv. These were some of the things suggested by my previous mid-wife to induce labor naturally. Needless to say I went into labor on the exact EDD. In terms of preparing, I found that going to antenatal classes really really helped in terms of knowing what to expect, and generally understanding the process. We tend to suffer from fear of the unknown so at each stage of my labor I knew what was happening and that sort of helped me to remain "calm" throughout. Also just telling yourself that no matter the amount of reading you do or videos you watch or stories you hear, your experience will always be unique and different. Shuu that was quite an essay, lol!

AFM I'm 35w1d, taking things 1 day as a time. I'm exhausted but trying not to let that get to my head too much as I still have the whole of Feb to work. Sleeping hasn't been too terrible, but some days are definitely better than others. I plan to get an exercise ball this weekend and start using it in the last 4 weeks.

I trust  that all the other ladies are doing well and the babas. Please do pop by and let us know how things are going.

@Charm m so sorry to hear what happened to ur Sister. Carrying a baby is really not easy, we pray and hope for healthy pregnancies and babies and that's all we can do as we do not have control of the rest. May God give u and ur family strength during this difficult time.

It's February and the end is near ladies.
M 34w3days only 6weeks left and m starting to really think about labour.
Anyone to share on how to prepare for labour, what to do? Eat? Just to make the labour pains bearable or the  labour shorter?

Otherwise all is well from my side and I hope all of u ladies and babies r doing well.
