@MamaK - Oh sherbet, good luck with tell the new boss. I agree, rather tell them early. Let us know how it went. So you had a natural birth with your 1st? Which midwife did you see and where did you birth?

My gynae moved to Cape Town last month so I am still trying to find a new gynae. I want to birth at Genesis and try for a VBAC, but ya still trying to find a midwife. Dr Sikakane is a pro-VBAC gynae but I'm not sure if she will allow me to try in hospital or only at Genesis. Will have to see what she says. 1st birth ended in an emergency c/section.

No no he is a great gynae! I do like him, I just want my own gynae away from my mom and sister's history haha! He is also a little further than I want. Sunninghill and Sandton are close to me.

Really not sure who yet... Really need to figure that out soon!

Oh wow, small world, he is my gynae. I have also been with him for years. Though with my 1st child I was with him until about 33weeks then he recommended that I continue with a mid-wife because I wanted natural birth and he does C-sections (natural too but he said if I want someone there with me through out, then midwife is better), which worked out perfectly.

I think I will do the same this time around, see him until about 30 weeks then go to my mid-wife as I am planning to go natural again.

I am glad you are not leaving him due to bad service or anything negative like that, hahaha.

I used to see Dr Moller. He is great. Has been with me my mom and my sister for years. I just want a fresh start with someone new, closer to work as well (sandton/sunninghill)

@Cands, so sorry to hear about the pains and nausea, I hope you are feeling much better this morning. Which Gynae were you seeing at Fourways Life, because my Gynae is there, just out of curiosity.

AFM, I am feeling a bit nausea today, the smell of coffee makes it worse bleh! But it is not too hectic. This week is my last week at my current work, I am starting a new job on the 1st of Aug, still need to disclose to my new employer that I am pregnant, not looking forward to that at all. I'm planning to go see the new employer on Friday to go drop off the original copy of my contract, I think I am just gonna disclose then, and nip it in the butt as early as possible *sigh*.

So far nothing. Trying to just deal with the nausea. But if it gets any worse then I will take something. Definitely really tired. Feeling very out of it to be honest!

Yes at Vitala, trying to figure out a place to go. I used to go to a gynae at Fourways life but want to find someone new.

The nausea is terrible. just got myself some nik naks haha. its helping actually!

Thank you sweets! My 1st scan is only the 10th of Aug, I will be around 8 weeks then.

I glad to hear the cramps have subsided. Shame, are you taking anything for the nausea? And energy? I must say I'm also feeling very tired this time around. I see you have to see a Dr at Vitalab, where do you then give birth?

I started with Pregomega + and only taking it before bed otherwise I feel nauseous all day. Yeah I'm really tired, nausea spells come and go an then cramps here and there.
