Gee Ashleigh, and I thought I was organised - lol!

I guess i have the advantage of this not being baby numba 1, so a couple of things are being handed down from "big" bro!

Michelle, I think where Ashleigh has started is a good place... getting all the big things out the way and then leaving the smaller things to the shower, if you have one that is... One thing for sure is don't leave it to last minute coz it will cost a fortune!

I must be honest though, I never waited 'til my shower becoz I didn't get one, not being local contributed I guess, but friends came to visit with their gifts after baby was born!

What i think is possibly a good idea is, on good months get 1 or 2 big items (cot, car seat, steriliser etc) & on months when the budget is not so good, get smaller items, bottles, towels, nappies (you'll never have enough of these, so you can constantly buy different sizes as and when u can)... if you find by the time baby is almost due and your friends/fam are going to have a shower for you, ask for gift vouchers from Woolies or whichever place instead, so you can go and pick out stuff that you still need or shop when baby is older (they're normally valid for a year +) and what's nice about a shop like Woolies is you can use the vouchers for all sorts, baby food, milk, not necessarily clothes!

This is actually something we need help with. We have no clue what to get and where to start.

Any of you ladies got some suggestions.

Out of all the big things all we still need to buy is a chest of drawers that I will use as a changing table as well. And shelfs for the room. I have all the other big things. I can wait for my baby shower and therafter just buy what i still need. and you?

Hi Lagarbah... hvn't spoken 2 u b4, so guess u hv been away 4 a while.. don't stay away, keep us updated on wat's happening. I really must say, i admire you, a 10mth old and 15wks!!! How are you coping, don't you feel tired all the time?

I'm onto no. 3, I look and think of baba every minute of everyday, almost like it's my first! I guess for u, it would be diff coz u r busy with another baba in the meantime. You must be in good health tho, did u hv MS etc?

Ahsleigh... plse send some of the "sex dust" to me, I think DH will be very excited!!

My next doc's visit seems like it's ages away, 14th June... when r u guys all back in again?

Otherwise, I'm looking forward to an eventful weekend. By the way, have you guys started budgeting/planning/buying anything for the babas... if so wat?

Well, i'm having a super day indeed!! Today is my birthday and my present included clean blood tests and urine tests.... and my car is sold. I have been trying to sell it for over 9 months now. Praise God for great health and miracles!!!!!!

Lagarbah, we missed you girl. I think you are busy with little one that is why u don't get to think alot on pregnancy. Don't worry thou, i think it's perfectly normal. Plus u have to give Nuriya lots of attention now so when other baba comes, she doesn't feel jealous.

Ashleigh, I envy you. High drive is something I can't even imagine right now. And praise God that you don't have the burning feeling. I hope you and I will not have MS throughout our pregnancy.

hi ladies! Sorry 4 being so scarce Nuriya keeping me super busy!lol... Went to gynae yesterday. All well, praise God, munchkin a little bigger than average and closed legs tightly so couldnt tell the sex. For those moms with 2nd /3rd pregnancy do you find that you hardly think about this pregnancy coz you busy with other kid(s)? Mayb its just me coz Nuriya still small. Dunno. My next scan probably at 20wks so hopefully will know then if its a boy/girl. Would be nice to have a boy as know what its like to have a girl, but dont mind either really, as long as baba is healthy. Keep well ladies
