Hello Mommies,

How's all the LO's doing? They are simply getting to big too quick.

Dewald has measles Can you believe it.

He is a little wild one that never stops. He loves singing. He claps his little hands and sings. Too quite!!

He stands up against anything and then lets go, and then after a second or two topples over.

He has also been waking up several times a night. Now I know why, he was busy getting sick.

Why we all so quiet? Busy at work or with the little ones?

Luke is doing well - has a bit of "snot siekte", but it is not getting him down!

Luke went for yet another fall down the 2 steps at the back door last week Wednesday and this time had a bit of a blue face! My poor baby cried for about 20 minutes and I felt so so bad - consoling him at that point also did not work very well!

Luke is still crawling - but is now pulling himself up against everything he can and walking from side to side as he does it! Cant believe how amazingly fast he is growing and developing.

No teeth yet, but you can see them sitting there, just not pushing through yet.

As for the sleeping through - the past week or so he has been up every morning for about 10 minutes (about 3am - ish)... Just hope it is a phase he is going through!

I have started planning Luke's birthday - decided to break away from the norm of "whinne the pooh or noddy" parties and going to have a party with clowns, bright colours and lotsa activities and the older children have agreed to join in and dress up as clowns! I think its going to be wonderful! - My best friend and I decided that we would have our boy's parties together as they are 11 months and 2 weeks apart (and the boys are best friends too)..... Think its a good idea and will be fun!!!

Hi ladies. We all have really busy babies keeping us on our toes all the time. Liam has mastered crawling, standing up and holding and walking. Today he let go and stood himself for a few seconds. He still doesn't have any teeth but I can see the outline of the top and bottom 2 already so it shouldn't be long now. He's been saying dada for a while now and more recently mama, baba and hey. He's so energetic and he hates to be carried. He just wants to be on the floor. We will have a small kiddies party for his birthday. Haven't thought of a theme yet. Have a good day.

Omg can't believe we are talking about first birthdays already! How time goes!

Well my little bear is still not crawling, not for lack of trying though,and she has just cut her 7th tooth 8 does not look far behind. I've not had her weighed for ages, but my arms feel the weight if I carry her around for long. She can't stand her pram. She says mamma for a month now, although I think she has only started getting the meaning. Dada came two days ago, and blah blah blah gets said a few times. Oh and can finally get from lying down to sitting position.

She still wakes at night for a bottle. And has moved into my bed from the crib next to the bed! We are going to move her into her own room soon, but I know its gonna be difficult for both her and I. When is the next Q because if it were up to me she could stay in my bed until she moves out!

Swimming lessons starts this weekend, I can't wait!

How was your weekends.

I have not even thought about Dewald's first birthday yet. I will probably do, what I did with my other kids. Order a nice cake and have a small party with his brother, sister and cousins.

Hows the weather been in CPT lately? Beyond terrible - just too damn hot! I felt as though I could die... Battled with Luke for 2 days to get him to settle and to go to bed (thinking the heat would make him tired - Oh no definitely not....)!

Awee Beatrice - Emma is gorgeous!

Luke is busy mastering his crawling techniques and speeding up too I must say - I took a walk down the passage the other night to my moms room and my mom said to me turn around and who would be behind me..... Luke - I could not believe it cos he was in my room not even a minute ago... Now need to really keep an eye on him cos he is everywhere!

Luke also went for his first "'big fall'' - was airborne for a second or two when it happened. He was running around in his walking ring and ran out the back door and fell down 2 steps and grazed his nose a bit. Luckily no harm was done - just his first "war wound".... LOL! He did not even cry, but he did give his Granny and Great Gran a big fright... (I was at work when it happened)...

Has anyone started giving thought as to what to do for your LO's 1st Birthdays?
