Mine lasted about a week and a half, its been 5 weeks now and I am back to my old self again. Just give it time, it will be okay soon.

Try using nipple shields from Pigeon, I got them and unfortunately Tay didnt wanna feed off them, and my nipples were too small to fit into them. I just stopped BF for 3 days to give my boobies a break and kept them moisturised and they were okay again. But then I struggled to get her back on the breast again , but I persisted and she now feeds off both breast and bottle and my breasts haven`t cracked again ever since.

hi ladies. Hope you all are well. Liam is such a pleasant baby. I feel so bad because DH does everything for him except feed him because i have so many stitches and they're so painful i can barely walk. My nipples are already cracked so i have 2 get a breastpump soon. I don't have backache but i didn't have an epidural. Dee, my mom told me to drink gingerbeer for milk and it seems to help me. I haven't run out of milk. Take care.

StaceySmey i suppose it differs with people hey, some have no probe with it and others suffer after it,

i have been having withdrawals from the epidural and the pain killers that i have been taking after, sometimes a shake uncontrollable and feel very cold. hope it comes to an end soon coz i realy cant take it any more its so painful.

any idea how long this last?

I had an epidural but havent had back pain - i hope it doesnt still happen!

I had an epidural maybe thats why i have been having those back pains, they are so terrible like you said after washing lo i can do anything for an hour still in pain,

do you have an idea how long does the pain last?

Hope, I also had backpain, esp when bathing Taitum, for the 1st 2 weeks. I had an epidural, so I suppose thats why.

My LO is 10days old today, she's still very sweet. Only cries when I take too long to feed her, other than that she eats and sleep very well. I hope she stays this way. I'm breastfeeding her, and give topup formula cause she still hungry after I fed her on both breast. Hope I'm giving her Nan as well. I've been suffering with terrible cracked nipples which makes breastfeeding so painfull!!!
Any advice on what to drink to help with milk production?
