Oh Zodwa i am experiencing the same thing with Imaan. If i ask her to kiss she comes close to my face and also grabs my face - but i must also come close to her and then MWAHHHHHH lol...

And its only Mommy that gets kisses. If Daddy asks she shakes her head to say NO - as if madam knows what NO means lol... Even if anyone asks her to come to them she shakes her head.

I think she sees the other two do it now its NOOOOO for everthing lol.... So cute...

Jaqi, is exclusively breastfed (aside from solids) and has never had a bottle. I do have a sippy cup, think I will give her that instead of a bottle.

A teething necklace is made of amber. There is a post on here where we discuss it. I will see if I can find it.

Zodwa-When Muneeb is sick he is still a pleasant, busy little boy. If it wasn't for his runny nose I wouldn't even know he was sick. I really hope my kids don't get ashtma. I suffered with it when I was growing up and would hate my kids to get it. I'm am fortunate that no-one smokes around my kids. I know this aggrevates it, doesn't cause it but aggrevates it. The kissing thing is so cute. Enjoy it while you can. When they get bigger it's so tough to get a kiss.

EP - Can I ask, what is a teething necklace? How does it work? You could also get something to rub on her gums for the teething. I agree with Shariefa, try the bottle and see if she drinks it, it might just be her mouth.

Muneeb is just too busy. How do you ladies get your lo to ly still while changing their nappies. I just can't do it. I give Muneeb toys but he still insists on turning onto his tummy. Muneeb had his first fling the other day and he just loved it. Now, everytime Ai'sha and Yaqeen eat flings he gets soooo excited. I try only give 1 - 2 a day. I've also bought youghurts so want to try that before bed. Anyone else tried flings or youghurt?

Any Capetonians that can tell me where I can have a picninc and watch the airshow? I want to spend some quality (family) time for our anniversary, with the kids, of course and thought this was a good idea. Any other ideas?

Yippee long weekend... Well its also my anniversary tomorrow!!!!!

My weekend will be extra long taking time off on Monday to spend with the kids...

EP are you giving her panado or calpol. I am giving Imaan - Calpol seems to work as panado not helping at all. Are exclusively breastfeeding??? Maybe you must try giving her a bottle and see if she fights as well. Imaan even hates her dummy when her mouth is sore....

Well, it is the long weekend, and the school are closing today at 1-h00. I am so excited about having teh kids home again for a week or so. Tomorrow is also dh's birthday. We have no special plans, as he just wants to relax at home. The past few years we always had friends and family over for a celebration of some kind, but dh says he does not enjoy it much an dthis year he does not want to.

So...

Jaqi was so restless last night at feeding time, I suspect she is ready to be weaned from th ebreast - I just don't know if I amready. She fights me every feeding time, she cries and screams untill we're both exausted and I just give up an dlet he rhave her dummy. I am worrie dthat my milk might dry up if sh edoes not feed.But seems like her mouth is just too sore It breaks my heart.

Zodawa/Shakira - both my kids are on illiadin cronicly so you can use it for long periods. obviously Lorelai has the baby 1.

Zodwa - Ask the docter about Allercet for chronicly. Amandalynn is also very chesty and has asthma so it helps alot wiht all her allergies.
