Carlotte Hope u get the job!!!

Ruru responds to his name now. I shld really stop calling him Ruru, everybody thinks its his name, he'll end up thinking its his name. Iv been calling him that since before he was born so its a habit.

Problem is when Im with DH's family I cant say Ruru's name coz he's named after his great grandfather. So according to culture i cant call him Mphote as its also an elders' name.
Am a bit worried that he wont respond when they call him by his name.... oh well, they'll see what to do with themselves coz i still cant call him by his name.

Yep, Ruru is doing everything fast, he even manages to pull himself to a standing position using the sofa. He woke up an hour ago, crying, when I get to the cot he's on his feet!!!
In all honesty, I do wish he wld slow dwn. I really miss my small, dependant baby. Was looking at his 10 day old pics today.... time really does fly. MIL says DH started walking at 9 months so I guess Ruru takes after him
But they say when one thing develops quickly, something else will b slow!!
Had to take him to the hosp to b nebulised tonight. He's chest really sounded bad. They gave him some allergex syrup. Hope that helps. Today he refused to eat solids, only drank milk.
Funny thing is he dsnt act sick, he's busy as ever

Shakira I use Salinase. Its saline nose drops.. I think u cant use Illiadin for more than 5 days...
U are right, walking rings are great at keeping them busy. Now I take my baths in peace knowing he's busy playing close by. He loves being mobile. He also wants less attention from me!!!

Bath time has been sorted out now. When DH bathes him he dsnt fuss or cry, he becomes an angel. Guess he wants daddy.

Ruru like grabbing my hair & putting my face against his. Then he presses his lips (with or without dummy) against my face. If I try to move away, he pulls me back by my hair (ouch!!) If I kiss him, he closes his eyes & enjoys & dsnt let go till he feels like it.
Im learning to enjoy our kissing sessions as painful as they may b!!

How ar eyou all doing? How are the babies doing? Feels like I have been so out of touch recently. I am just so busy.

Seems like Jaqi is finally teething. SLight fever, loss of apetite, watery poo, swollen gums... Ai the joys of parenthood, huh. Luckily her teething necklace is in place, and hopefully that will help. She was very miserable yesterday, but is much better today!

How many babies in this group have teeht already? I feel like Jaqi is the only teethless almost 8 month old around hahahaah.

Charlotte I am in town almost every day. My kids go to school in Sea Point. Send me the pic and we can discuss.....

only have a picture of the top of it, will take a pic tonight and send it to you. i work in town and stay in the northern suburbs. We can maybe meet half way...

@ Shakira - Imaan is def a talker lol. Blaps whole day its like she wants to have a conversation with the other kids. And also can scream and giggles when everyone turns to see why lol.
