hi feb 2010 mamas i see familiar names that i know. PF really was a downer. KKrose Zodwa M how are you ladies. my LG is doing great gaining weight. Very chubby and im exclusivel breastfeedin she weighs 7,85ks. She was a big baby at birth.


As for solids my pead said at four months its perfectly fine to start her on rice cereal and at six months protein from meat is fine. He said its more for their development.

I see that most of the mommies start to give their babies cereal because they stay hungry. In my case my lb didn't want to drink milk, with most of his feeds he just laugh and talk. I decided to give him 1tsp of rice cereal in the morning to get his weight up to date. He only weighs 6.6kg. He's about 67cm long (longer than the norm).
Do you guys think I'm doing it wrong?

I don't know creche guard, I have heard of it but never used it.

I also thought starting Imaan with solids was a bit early, but she is really drinking a lot of milk more than 6 bottles a day - so the clinic suggested i start her on cereal and see wheter she still drinks so much.

look like most of the babies started with "their" for solids(rice cereal).i started last week and took seth to pead and he recommeded that i must wait a bit.
seth is drinking to little milk and pead want him to have more milk than solids at this stage.

yes very cold in cape town and i am stuggling with a block nose,now there is a little cough as well.

i read that you can give babies creche gaurd from 4 months ,is there anyone using it already.dont want to give seth a lot of different kinds of med at such a young age.

Hi all my baby is out of hospital!!!!!! doc told us to start baby on solids to reduce his milk intake because of his plegm.. atleast baby is 4months. but i feel like i am doing something wrong as the cereal is everywhere but his tummy feel like i am doing something wrong as he keeps on pushing it out!!!any tips?
