If I put the blender on, Nienke goes "oe, oe, oe" and then starts bawling her eyes out. My hubby has to take her outside.

Charlene, Bardon is so vrek oulik! Jy klink vir my bietjie "nostalgic" vandag.
:) Moet maar vir B ompraat om nog 'n baby te kry!

Oh my word, Sumayad, that is so funny! I am way too shy to breastfeed in public. Have never done!

I ate ANOTHER TWO CHOCOLATES! ARG! From tomorrow i am on a diet, seriously. I need to curb this monstrous appetite of mine.

Charlene, ek sal jou more oggend eerste ding laat weet, moet eers kyk hoe B se mood is!

Do any of you watch Child of our time on BBC knowledge on wednesdays? I just love it. They follow 25 children who were born in 2000 for 20 years to see how they turn out and testing the whole nature versus nurture debate. A few shows back they said that for little girls, if their ring finger is longer than their index finger they are going to be tomboys. Wonder if thats true!

There is one woman on the show, she is a single mom, born without arms and only has shortend legs. She is amazing, when her baby was small she would pick him up by his vest with her teeth!

Last week the show was about terrible two's. They say the process starts when your child can look in the mirror and know that they are seeing themselves (and not another baby) they tested this by putting lipstick on the kids forehead and letting them see themselves in a mirror. Most by the age of 18 months know that they were looking at themselves. This is when tantrums start. Before then (apparently) babies only cry to communicate.

you know sumayad, with him being my last, yip i just maynot have more, i want him to not grow up and he is growing up to fast, he shold only be learning to sit and play now, rather than climb up and over everything, but he see's his sisters playing and doing things and the only way to join in the fun is by getting up and walking over.

marijke: ek wag vir jou sodat ons kan panakoek maak

Charlene - that's so true, I think I was doing that with Z, didn't want to let him go off the breast, I'm gonna miss it big time.

Wow but Bardon is so indedpendent, clearly he doesn't needs his walker anymore, they growing up so fast...

With the breast, at least I know he will not demand it in public. My SIL 24 month old daughter screams and demands the boob at odd times. Not that there is anything wrong with breast feeding in public, but screaming "mommy I want nana". My SIL would be speaking to somebody, and her daughter would just start unbuttoning her shirt and take the boob out - toooo funny.

the saddest part is realising your baby is not a baby anymore and no matter how much im trying to hold onto him being a baby, its not working.
this is a toy ange had as a baba, and this is how i find him coming to me this morning

he is walking around pushing the walker. he catches a wobble now and then but this is just sad.
he has also now found the video machine/dvd player/amp

hope everybody has better days 2mrw and marilu, ek dink jy moet haar weer terug sit op die isomil en sien, as dit verbeter dan sal jy weet, as nie, oops, maar haar maag kan omgekrap wees van verandering van melk ne.
marijke: ag ek hoop B is gou gesond en daai koors kom af, onthou groen snot, infeksie...
