Pat this just proves to me once again that I'm NOT paranoid about Renier's parents pool!!! I can't believe people (Renier's parents) can be so stubborn and it will probably take an accident for them to realize they have to WATCH the children around the pool - very upsetting.

I'm SO glad Adam is fine after the whole ordeal.

Binks thanks for the info regarding CPR. I really know so little about these stuff.

Pat at least A is still fine with the water, How is your back? and the MS. I have to go again this week for Physio and needleing really not my cup of tea.

Ladies hate to burst your bubble but CPR is not like you see it in movies hubby and i laugh our A off when we see it. It really depends on how fast you get to them water in the lungs need to be suctioned so on, they starting a new method where they bring down the body temp during the process and some say it really working would love to see more people make it out of hospital or even to hospital.
I've had 3 people make it to hospital and none went home so sad, the worst CPR is the kids.

Pat, shoooo what a relief, because when they petrified they tend to panic as well, I'm really glad that he is ok. The day I came to you Zia ran full speed to your pool, and it was raining and I slipped, no wonder I looked all wet and lost when I got to you ladies

The great part is that my uncle is phoning all over today getting prices on a fence so good came out of this all..

Sumaya.. Adam is never out of our sight.. We are probably over protective but I dont actually care.. Besides the pool Adam could never walk around this plot alone, there is too much he can get up to.. Even if he is playing in our little yard someone always has an eye open.. So yes, he would never have been there on his own..

He is absolutely fine with the water.. He actually seemed to understand how it all happened and we swam for ages afterwards just to make sure that he was still a happy little fish..

Pat - while reading your post my stomach turned into a knot. I'm so glad that you were around, and that Adam is ok. And accidents happen so quickly. The baby of last week was probably out of his mother's sight for a minute.....and sadly he didn't make it
Is Adam petrified of the water now?

Nayeela, I think your hubby was trying to keep the peace between both his wife and his friend, but I would also have been P.O. It wouldn't hurt G to just send an sms from anyone else's phone just to let you know. I think your hubby learnt a valuable lesson and that he wouldn't make a mistake like this EVER again.
