The pressure is on, my family are desperate for a grandaughter.. And Avron really wants a little girl.. I didnt mind but now I am starting to feel like I would feel less sorry for Adam if it is a girl cos then he wouldnt have competition.. Silly I know..

Monique.. I am not Jewish.. Avron is though..Sort of.. Long story but he was born Christian and given up for adoption.. He was adopted by a Jewish couple and converted at birth so all a bit confusing.. The circumcision was done in the doctors rooms.. I had been to a few Bris's and the Rabbis do it so so quickly that it seemed pretty easy. For that reason, Avron was flying that day and my sister in law and I took him.. It was horrific.. Adam was fine but for me it was just too awful.. They inject into the base and the head of the penis, and then cut and sort of push it out.. and it bleeds but luckily not much at all.. He was better by the evening.. If I can help it I would like not to have a Friday baby this time.. If you have your baby in the week, the doctors are around and do it in hospital and you dont have to go back.. I didnt enjoy the huge rush on the Monday- milk coming in, baby blues hitting, going home and you nervous as all hell, then it was pictures, footprints, hearing test, home affairs and this all had to be done by like 10 I think.. I was FINISHED!!!

Pat, now that you talk about the cirmumsition - was it a normal circumsition or are you Jewish? My boss' son's bris was on Monday and I hear it's quite traumatic fort he mommies???

Sumaya - my son also had a stage where he lifted my skirt the whole time, but luckily it's over now. This morning S was also staring at me while I was getting dressed - think they're just curious? 'Cause I bathe my two together an he never noticed any differences?

Sumaya, it depends on the baby.

I took my daughter to a chiropractor @ about 14 weeks if I remember correctly and he "fixed" her - was the end of colic!

I must admit, I had an easy birth!! Short and only pushed a few times. My epidural was HEAVEN. The worst was the cutting they did!!!!!! I was on pain meds for 2weeks after the birth, couldn't sit properly!

Oh no Monique..I never ever ever ever want a baby with colic ever again. And I SUCKED at burping Migs. She almost never burped
