Sumayad, we have had two MMRs already. We go to a private clinic and they say the manufacturers say it can be given at 12 and 15 months. Some clinics do one now and the other at about 6 years old but our Clinic/ Paed says if it can be done now he does it now.. Why leave the child at risk till they 6 and also that because it is invasive why put the child through that again at 6.. Everyone has different opinions though..

Have all the babies had their MMR vaccinations as yet? MIL took Zia to the local clinic and they don't do the MMR - the sister says they only cover the measals injection??? And that he should only go back to the clinic when he is 18 months old??

Maybe I should take him to Dischem rather?

I'm finally sitting with my computer screen AWAY from everybody so Ill be chatting more often I'm currently in the big office cause the one girl (a friend of mine) is on leave (getting married on saturday) and I'm doing her work as from today. But when she's back (end November) I'll be moving back to the sh*t office

Vision M is loving her new class She actually runs to the teacher in the mornings when R drops her off.. very cute Sorry to hear about R's bruise. They seem quite fearless at this stage hey? Very scary for us moms!

Lonie I still get up between 4 and 7 times a night cos she wants something to drink i do one bottle and the rest is juice for her, we spoil her and she gets a bottle of yogi sip at bath time while she dresses, she loves that.

As for us, B woke up with a clear snotty nose this morning, possibly because she and daddy played outside yesterday evening as it was getting colder and she started saying her name today.

As for work, I still don't know but even if I don't do it now the topic will keep popping up, but yes, I wont be doing it for money, or for B's sake, perhaps a bit for me but mostly for the business. So perhaps I should look at it this way - the growth or lack thereof will directly impact our families future.

B will be going to the same daycare as my sisters two boys, so her cousin Ben would be in the same class with her. It's R750 a month regardless of how long she has to stay there during the day. My heart aches more for the added disposable diapers than the schoolfees. But anything I earn can go directly to a savings plan for education. I don't know, wish I could just go to sleep and wake up when someone has made the decision for me

Binks, things are going well on this side, Amber is doing great, just the sleeping that is still a problem, waking up a few times during the night for a sip of milk, its not like she is wide awake and she falls alseep right away..but still! And giving her water totally wakes her up putting on a huge fuss..I am starting to dilute her milk until its almost water and see how that goes.
Shame Sumaya..I hate it when they get all sad when you leave!Makes my day so much harder!!
Sumaya, talking about some moments! The other day I was taking a bath with Amber (at around 17:30) so after that I put on this sexy nighty just because I was feeling like it.. so Amber was moaning after the bath to go outside and I though ok what the hell, maybe just for a minute or so.. I was pushing her on the swing and when I looked over my shoulder I saw our neigbour was standing on his stoop and sure he could see all my bending over Amber picking her up from the swing.. I almost died...I have since moved bath time till after 6...
