Hi all, sorry for being awol but it was hectic at work, but now i just had a breyani and a pear and now drinking water! and i refuse to work further for now.

I'm with Sumaya on a normal bed, i see the rails are on special at baby boom for R299 i think as opposed to R499, i think its worth it....maybe i just move J into her room by xmas hmmmmm

Nadia i love that dream tubes, i dont see a price though but i see babyboom,toysrus, reggies sell them....i'll try and find out

As for Jesse, i asked her again last night, how old she is, she has the finger right but says 2...maybe its just easier for her to say 2 instead of 1

The only thing I'm a bit worried about using a bed instead of a cot..I'm 100% sure if Migs wakes up during the night she's going to climb out of the bed.

Lagarbah that's good advice about repeating words slowly. I speak really fast so poor Migs probably can't make out a word that I'm saying!! Will make an effort to say words slowly so that she can try and repeat them.

On topic of Talking... Nuriya is saying many words already... all babas are diff, I tend to repeat words for her slowly and loudly and tell her to look at my mouth. She is now repeating words without being prompted so must watch what we say

Sumaya..think the biting and hitting is just a phase...saw some advice that said if they do it, to put them down and focus your attention elsewhere (this would probably work at home only) so that they realise that the behaviour results in them losing your attention and at this stage it is what they want...
