Sumaya and Lonie at least i'm not the only one who's house is hot during summer, i cant handle it and i can see Jesse will be sleeping in a nappy only.

lonie i would've died, or even wet my pants, actually i nearly did! I was not married, still on college and it was about 6ish the morning and i was laying on my back (nearly time to get up) and something told me to look towards the left of my bed and as i looked i saw nothing. And then a minute later i felt something walking on my arm, it was a flippen roach, i jumped up went str8 to the loo and sat there and my father was like WTF? and i couldn't speak and eventually i managed to say "in the bed" i am terrified of anything bigger than a fly, i cant even handle a moth! bad i know

Marijke nice to "see" you here! Sorry that u couldn't stay at barnyard but when we were there last month or was it the month before, cant remember, all the roosters and turkeys and stuff were caged! the only thing that was under tables or on top were the birds waiting for food.

Its been super hot hear in Pta, this weekend we took out the little splash baby pool and set it up in the garden.. Amber loves it to bits and wants to spend the whole day playing in the water!
I also dont try to spend time on the computer when I am at home, Amber is just too busy, plus I try to devote my afternoons to her development.
Marilu, that is great about the part-time job until November.!
Sumaya / Cinds, our house is also a little oven.. jeepers! At least we have an aircon now.. which helps a lot! My parents stay in KZN and in summer its hotter than you can imagine, plus I have this thing about leaving the windows open.
Once I was visiting and while sleeping (open window) a huge roach flew in and tried to crawl in my armpit (I was lying on my tummy) One thing about KZN and those huge roaches! I almost died..
Elrike, good luck with those curtains, do you enjoy sewing? The only thing I can make is underwear, but the rest just 0% interest..LOL my mother is very good with sewing and makes all sorts.. even my baby bag I am using at the moment she made it! At least its durable and not torn or handles falling apart.
I have one whole cupboard shelve full of adorable jerseys for Amber (her current fav hobby is knitting)

Hello to all the other mommies...

I'm still here! I have a bit of a problem when it comes to the computer. In the winter it didn't bother me so much because I had loads of clothes on but now that it's short sleeves all the way the moment I sit behind the computer B pinches me and it's damn sore so I try not to be near the computer when she's awake and since dropping her morning nap she now only sleeps 2 hours during the day which is also the only time I can spend on doing something like cleaning or getting work done. So as you can imagine everything in our house is going down the dumps again as I have to reply to emails the moment B goes down and by the time I'm done it's only an hour or a few minutes before she wakes up again.

I prefer to give her my full attention when she's awake as I believe my house will never be as clean as I would want it and she's growing up so quickly, in a few months/year time I'll get more than enough time to get everything done.

Anyway, about the moomie meet saturday. We were over an hour early as I had no idea where the place is and I wasn't sure how long it was going to take from mbury to get there. I've never been to The Barnyard in Tokai so when we got there we showed B the animals and she was SO scared of the rooster. There was one sitting under the table reserved for us and everytime he made a sound B got hysterical. So I told hubby we should rather leave.

Sad I know but anyway, next time no animals and closer to home would be nice!

Cinds, Our house is a oven in summer, next time I buy a house I will be wise not to take a west facing house - Zia sweats at night he also slept in a vest but he does not like to be covered either. Glad to hear that Miss J is doing better.

Zia is doing well, not coughing so much. He is so cute and busy.. On Sunday we had a braai at my friends place and he decided that he is going to go for a swim in her dogs water bowl, luckily I had an extra outfit with me.

I'm back! Been to the swimming again today! Luwan just enjoys it more and more!!!! He is such a cute little fishy in the water!!!! Went to Chamdor Fabric Sales. Bought some new stuff for the bathroom! Will make the curtains sometime!!! Allso have a idea for the Bedding in the Chalets @ Shumba's, but first we need to know what theme we want to use, Africa, Old Time combined with modern stuff. Ai, that is a mission impossible!
