Lizel, the word no in our house is usually accompanied by a crying and very sad baby......I wish she would understand it already. She opened a bottle of nandos sauce and was trying to drink it tonight and when I said no and took her away she cried forever!

Hi to everyone I missed....Im too lazy to catch up now.

Just want to say I boiled my first can of condensed milk today, was so chuffed with myself because i have always been scared it will explode or something. Made yummy cuppachino chocolate cupcakes with the condensed milk and peppermint crisp.....needless to say I am on a mayor sugar rush!

Cinds - Luwan slept through the last few nights... Touch wood!!! He woke us uo this morning @ 5, because my husband alarm went off... and a few seconds later Luwan was there to tell us, it is time to wake up!!!

Ons het nie vandag veel gedoen nie. Was maar rustig by die huis en het met Luwan gespeel! Hy is so oulik, vat my hand en stap met my buite toe om daar te gaan speel! Hy wil glad nie in die huis wees nie! Hy is 'n buite kind!!!

EK sien julle het ook die probleem met "Nee". Daar is tye wat Luwan my net plain ignoreer... Ander kere kyk hy vir my smile en gaan net aan! Dan moet ek hom wegvat van dit en dat hy dan iets anders doen! Dit maak my soms woedend, want ek kan dan niks gedoen kry nie! Soos bv. m rekenaar se knoppie druk en dan gaan my rekenaar af!!!! Maar nou ja, hy soek dann et my aandag!

More het ons by Moms and Tots 'n Piekniek! Dan het ons 'n week vakansie! Die naweek gaan ons Parys - Vrystaat toe. 'n Familie byeenkoms! Dink dit gaan lekker wees wat ek het die familie jare laas gesien! Ons gaan ook Luwan se klein nefie sien wat net 'n dag ouer as hy is!

Skitter - weet jy, dalk gaan M baie rustig wees op die vliegtuig. Sy is dan al bietjie groter en luister dalk vir jou!!! Sterkte ek sal aan jou dink!

I so agree with you lagarbah, repetition, persistence and a hellavu lot of patience....i think patience is key! I really do hope your VBAC is successful!!!!!

Hi ladies! It would be really awesome to have a VBAC, that way I can be an example to any other VBAC hopefulls in doubt that it is possible! Baby-Jap- ur most welcome anytime, with ur SAHM status coming up u will def have the time to pop around now- so exciting! Liezel and cinds - about understanding 'no' Nuriya is too cute she will raise her finger and go 'no,no,no' before attempting to go to the plugs but will still try her luck! Also if I tell her 'no' she gets cross, pulls her face and does this shoulder shrug thing so I think there is some understanding but she def doesnt like the word 'no'!lol My strategy on teaching a toddler, repetition and persistence and a hell-of-a-lot of patience! But hey I am just a newby at this so whatever works.

Oh dear Lizel, i also dont know how to make her understand No, but i'm sure she does because she listens sometimes other times she will show us i will do it LOL

This thread is seriously quiet, its not like it used to be, i would love to know why. Some post on other threads but not even here! hmmmmm makes me think
