Hi Lonie, thanks so much!

I am so glad you got through the sick without using antibiotics. I did THIS story yesterday, so am going to be very careful with flu from now on.

I am planning Nienke's party for 9 July. It's going to be red and white. They are each receiving a red party pack, a white box with a cupcake in, their own plastic knife and a sparkler. They will then each decorate their own cupcake with different things. I am going to make coloured icing sugar and they will each receive their own little container with icing sugar. Then there's chocolate things to put on, little green sprinkles, coloured stars etc. Going to be a HUGE mess but can't think what else to do with toddlers if it's that cold outside. If they get bored, they can colour or draw or jump on trampoline.

Marilu, so sorry for not smsíng you back. Been working this weekend and it was a bit hectic. I'll mail you now.

Sumayad, PLEASE send me the list as well. I have no idea where to start.

Nienke is CLING-Y. Wow. She wants to be carried all the time. And she is freaking heavy. I don't really know when to discipline her. She stood in the corner yesterday after she pulled out my internet after I warned her not to. So she said sorry and we made up. :-)

Nadia..brrr gym in the winter, you sure are brave! How was the winter wonderland birthday?
Sumaya, how things going with the house? Amber is doing a bit better today, she was very sick on Wednesday, spiking fevers and also her whole body was burning hot..we took her to the homeopath who said she has a bacterial infection, possibly due to her cutting molars and me being sick also. I was a bit paranoid with her having bacterial infection and was on stand by to go to the Pead, after reading all sorts of nonsens like Scarlet Fever and Meningitis..but once again, we got through on his meds without antibiotics.. :unsure:

Marib, heard that the swine flu is here also.! I hope Amber dont get sick after last week.. How is it going with Migs? Her nose better yet? The homeopath told us that if its green mucus and thick its viral infection.. :dry:

Skitter, hope your back feels better soon! Please try some Physio.. I had such back pain with Amber, and went for Physio every 2 weeks..its was wonderful and could manage another week after each session..LOL, plus the lady worked so softly on me almost like a pamper massage but someone knowing what they are doing..and was also relaxing and putting me at ease.. :P

Elrike, at the book shops they have such nice cake books for childrens birthdays, and steps on how to make them..
As ek nou aan idees moet dink kan n trein koek ook lekker werk, en dink nie dit is te moeilik om te maak nie.! Sterkte!

Hi all, I've been off for two days, so then I don't get time on the computer. Nienke wants ALL my attention.

Went for a scan on Thursday and all good. Baby is growing nicely and DEF a boy. I bought his first clothes yesterday. Nienke wasn't very impressed. :P

Nadia, enjoy the party.

Shame MB, seems like Migs is giving you a hard time. Hope you get some sleep with R away. Let her sleep with you, they are like little warmsakkies.

Marib... maybe you should speak to R re. spreading the load! Tell him you will do the first one and then he must do the second etc etc

We are going to my cousin's sons 1st birthday tomorrow... the theme is winter wonderland..she is very creative so I am very excited to see the set up...am sure it is going to be stunning...

Oh and I am joining the gym today! First workout at 4pm :) Wish me luck!

MariB - is Migs ok, why you up at night? I have to wake up at 3 just to do a nappy change otherwise it's leaks all over... Are you taking Migs to your meetings?

Morning everyone!

I'm in such a bad mood. I'm SO tired of ME having to wake up every single night and then Renier DARES to complain in the morning that HE is tired. I was more awake than asleep last night.

And I have a meeting tonight after work and tomorrow during the day and Renier is away for the whole weekend in Ceres flyfishing (the bitch in me is actually laughing hard at the fact that it's going to be max -2degrees there on sunday!!!! :P :P )

Ok, enough complaining :)

Nayeela, a very belated happy birthday to Kamilah!! I really hope she had a stunning day, saw the pics on FB and she looked like a little angel!

To all the mommies that have kids in creche (in CT): the swineflu is in the rounds again. My sister's girl (1.5years) has swineflu and apparently some other kids in the creche might have it too. Apparently it's not TOO serious, you just have to get the right meds for the flu.

Ok, let me try and work although it feels as if my fingers are going to break off if I try to type haha!!
