Ai Marib, sorry to hear that Migs slept so bad...when she is 2 years old, maybe you can redo the allergy test and find something that will make sense? I know a mommy that also went on Soya after allergy problems and her little girl was even allergic to the Soya, so they went onto rice milk..
Skitter, good luck on the decision, I suppose if you do start even with the slightest contraction, then it will still be time enough to get to the hospital..you just have to get the timing right and not wait for serious contractions to start before you leave..

Elrike, jy het skaars gewig opgetel..ek het met Amber sommer 20 Kg opgetel..alles was net so lekker..ek moet nog 4 Kg verloor en sukkel my alie af..LOL..help ook nie as ek so baie gemors eet deur die dag nie..

Lizel, jou skoonma is sommer net snaaks..enige kind is n wonderwerk..! Al waarvoor mens kan hoop is dat hulle gesond en normaal is..dan is alles ok..

Hello everyone

I'm DEAD on my feet today. I asked Renier to go to Migs last night when she woke up for the first time at 23:00...never again. It backfired horribly! She screamed for 30 minutes (I really thought the neighbours were going to come knocking on our door) and then when I went to her and tried to settle her the crying kept going. The rest of the night she woke up every 40-60minutes SCREAMING and very deurmekaar. I had NO sleep and feel horrible horrible horrible! I seriously don't know how we're going to deal with this problem. I think we should take her to a child therapist so that they can try and find out what's going on in her head.

And this morning when Renier dropped her off at creche she cried ALOT (she never cries) and he could hear her screaming even outside. It seems she's very upset now. WTF?

Ok, I have to go, have a meeting at 10:30 and my work isn't even halfway finished.

Skitter I would prefer to be near the better hospital. I don't know how comfortable a 3hour drive is going to be when you're in labour though? Very tough decision!

Sumaya Migs is in soya. She still drinks 2-3 bottles a day. I hear Nido is very good for kiddies?

Nadia I really can't stand Mig's crying at night..she screams 'mamma' the whole time. My heart can't take it. I told my mom yesterday I think I have to go and sleepover at a friend's house..then Migs will know she has to settle with her dad.

Skitter, 3 hours is a long drive, but I would also want the best for my LO. Who is going to look after M when you are in labour? I heard they said the 2nd time round is much faster than the 1st, so I don;t know what to say! trust you will make the best decision.

Marib - Geluk aan Renier! Seker julle is baie trots!!!

Deja - Ek dink ek het seker altesaam al so 3 of 4kg opgetel van wat dr wou gehad het, ek moes wees voor ek swanger geraak het.... maar van my normale gewig af - wat ek altyd was al 8kg! Maar ek was darem al op die aanbevole gewig voor ek swanger geraak het! Ek het net 'n groot skrik nou-die aand gehad... Die oggend was ek 58.5 en die aand toe weeg ek my weer... en toe is ek sommer 59.4kg... 'n hele 900g vir die dag opgetel! Maar ek het seker maar baie geeet en gedrink daarom was ek so swaar, want die volgende oggend was ek darem weer 58.7! (L se dit is al die Pizzas wat ek so inryg!! - hy is seker maar reg)

Lizel - Jou "MIL" is regtig funny... Jitte, ek sal my ook nie daaraan steur nie! Dit maak mos nie saak wat jy kry nie - solank die baba gesond is, is ek gelukkig! Dankie vir die uitnodiging! Ek sal jou nog laat weet later die week! Ek behoort by die huis te wees, want L gaan weer Naboom toe daardie naweek!

Sumayad - Luwan is on Cow's Milk and Nido! He drinks approx 2 glasses per day, either one cow and 1 Nido, sometimes just cows milk! I was actually wondering till when should I give Nido to him?

Justine - Congratz on the new job! It is wonderful news!!!

Nadia - Yeah for the Ms to be gone again for now! Think it was just all the cakes and stuff we ate this weekend! I feel better now!

Skitter, Abu Dhabi sounds alot better. I feel the same way, you do want the best for your baby. I will talk to a dr and ask what is the best options. 3 Hours can be a very long drive when you in labour. I would stay in a hotel or something then when it is near the time for baby to come. Who is going to look after M when you are in labour?

The reason for changing gynies (or rather having two) is because the facilities here are not up to standard as they are still busy building a proper hospital. This is only a housing complex we live in, however it has progressed and have more than 10 000people living here already. With the lack of stuff to do here also a lot of ladies are pregnant and there is only one gynie, nothing else. I cant even have an epidural, cause they have no one qualified to do it here....and I would love to have that option again. M was an induction and it went well, but I really want this to be all natural this time around.

The closest good hospital is in Abu Dhabi, the one I chose is the best in the UAE, and the facilities look great and they offer great care with an amazing NICU. After all I want baby to have the best care. Also there has been several ladies I spoke to that delivered here and not one of them had a good or even decent experience. So somehow I will have to travel that far or M and I will have to go stay in a hotel for an uncertain amount of time. This is a really tough choice to make and Im not going to even attempt going to SA, cause I wont be able to fly close to my time and dont want to be without hubby for so long. He missed just about most of my previous pregnancy.

Deja, sy is n bitch. I dont mind having another girl. They bring joy no matter what is between their legs. Dont know how much I picked up yet. Last week I was still standing on 2kg but after all the throwing up on Wednesday I have no clue. And you?
