Marilu, ek het laas week begin met sleep training met Amber, en los die deur oop, Tv aan ens.. by die kleuterskool raas dit in elk geval..ek dink by die skool weet hulle dat tantrums nie gaan help nie, en hulle leer baie gou.. Amber gooi ook lekker tantrums by die huis (veral met my) en ek probeer eerder nou iets daaraan doen as wat sy ouer is. Ek verstaan wat jy bedoel met hulle raak omgekrap, Amber het al opgegooi, vuil doek gemaak, gehoes.. (sy probeer alles in die boek! LOL)
Ek weet mens kry timers vir jou Geyser ook.. ek was verbaas hoeveel krag net die Geyser alleen opvreet!

Cinds Amber is doing ok thanks, but teething at the moment..glad to hear J is doing well!

Marilu, I put het in the cot and sit next to her on the bedd, my back facing her and watch movies or tv....the quieter she gets the softer i put the tv and now she falls asleep without me being in the room, I just lay her down. Geduld is die enigste manier om enigeiets met hulle te doen, en ek het gelukkig hope daarvan....moet se sy is eintlik n baie rustige kind en baba

Deja, ek was baie gebyt, glo my maar dit het my net meer gedetermineerd gemaak

Had a wonderfull time at the beach, sat in the water for so long.....couldnt take photos as the lens kept fogging up because of the humidity but it was really a lot of fun

Winter is terug in volle glorie. Dit is vriesend vandag hier in JHB en dit is aaklig! Luwan het nie goed geslaap gisteraand nie! Hy het so 1h00 se kant by ons ingekruip, heel vrolik! Ek het gedink hy het koud gekry, maar hy wou tot 3h00 niks weet van slaap nie! Ai, so ek voel bietjie moeg vandag, en so kloppende hoofpyn - die "Gautrain" het oor my kop geloop en toe gebreek... LOL of dit voel amper so!

Lizel - ek is bly dat die twin uit gevaar is! Dink aan jou!

Skitter - daai beddens is oulik! Die een met die tande sal my nagmerries gee! LOL! Maar dit is enige kind se droom so so oulike bed te he! Geniet die strand!

Claire - Colby is gorgeous!

Marilu - jip, daardiel ink laat mens nogal dink - ek was gister nogal skrikkerig om te ry! Maar is weer daaroor! Ek probeer altyd versigtig ry, veral as iemand saam met my in die kar is! Dit was nog altyd vir my belangrik!

Lonie dankie vir die tip om die geyser af te sit..ek dink ek gaan dit doen, maar gaan baie upset wees as ek vergeet om dit weer aan te sit!! Ons elektr is prepaid en dis noual meer as R1000 'n maand!!

Sumaya use that sterimar for Zia, it cleans out the nose. Do you give him vitamins? Hope he doesn't get a cold

Morning everyone!!

We had a good night last night, M went to bed without a fight and only woke up once. WOOHOO!

Ok, I really need advice, how do I get Mignione to go to sleep during the day without rocking her?? She's dropped her morning nap so that leaves only one nap during the day from 12-3. She goes to sleep at the creche with a bottle and falls asleep on her own. Do you guys leave the door open so that they can still hear you move around in the house or do you close the door? I can't leave her to cry cause she gets so upset that she'll never sleep.

Vision I had an ok day yesterday, actually lost my temper with my boss late afternoon cause he was SO RUDE. He didn't reply to my outburst haha. M's ears are ok so far but her snot is green and very very thick, so will probably be taking her to the ENT on Friday to check if her ears are still ok. I'm so grateful that her ears have been clean for so long now! That homeopathic meds really worked.

Skitter jy laat die weaning so maklik klink Jy het baie geduld ne? Wil jy nie maar kom kuier en vir my ou pikkenientjie kom leer hoe om op haar eie aan die slaap te raak nie? Well done met M se weaning

Claire Colby is gorgeous! He's grown so much, he's a little boy now..where's the baby gone? Is he still sleeping ok?
