Lizel, ek het op ander thread ook aan jou respond.

Ek het dit al vanmiddag gelees en so hartseer gevoel vir jou, want ek weet hoe jy voel. Jammer ek het nie vroeer respond nie, maar dis CHAOS hier by my.

Onthou net, op die ou end gaan sy 'n sussie so geniet. Ek dink nie enige kind kom skotvry af as daar 'n nuwe boetie of sussie opdaag nie. Dis 'n major aanpassing en ja, hulle gaan afgeskeep voel by tye en voel of die baba al die aandag kry.

Ek was ook baie uitgefreak hieroor, maar voel nou baie beter daaroor. Die gelukkige ding van dogtertjies, is dat hulle tog maar 'n moedersinstink het. Ek bedoel, Nienke is obsessed met babas en poppe ens.

Het enige van jou familie of vriende klein babas? Probeer om Zelri baie by hulle te kry. Praat heeltyd met haar oor die baba. Maak die baba deel van haar lewe, sodat sy weet wat kom. Vertel haar dat die baba baie slaap en drink en huil en poef in die begin, want sy moet nog groei. Sy kan nie haar koppie ophou nie, sy is nog pap en het baie liefde nodig. Maar later gaan sy groter word en dan kan sy speel en en en.

Ek kyk ook saam met Nienke na boeke met scanfoto's in. Nienke het vandag weer vir my gevra om te kyk hoe die "baba goei" (groei). Ek het haar ook al saamgeneem scans toe en alhoewel sy die dokter niks trust nie, het dit haar 'n beter idee gegee dat daar genuine iets in my maag is.

Ek laat haar ook nou met my maag praat, sodat die baba haar stem leer ken. Ek probeer genuine haar heeltemal deel maak van die proses. Nie dat dit 'n guarantee is nie, maar dit laat my reeds meer gerus voel.

Jammer vir die lang response, maar dit is nog iets wat vir my baie belangrik is. Ek onthou nou nog hoe afgeskeep ek gevoel het toe my boetie gekom het. Dit was terrible. Ek onthou NOU NOG die dag wat hy gebore is! :unsure:

Vision, have you tried a chiro? I find they know more when it comes to pregnancy, because they work with the joints itself.
How are you feeling? How is the MS?

i know Nadia! I can't believe they are so big already!

We are home alone and there's a THUNDERSTORM outside. NOT cool.

Lizel - I'm so glad you posted this! I just asked in the other forum if anyone's children were more clingy! Colby is exactly the same! He wants to be where ever I am, always wants to be picked up and is starting to go back to bad habits he used to have! I spoke to my cousin about it and she said it's normal. When your tummy starts getting big, they realise something is up. She said that once they realise that they are still loved and that the baby isn't replacing them, it gets better. I'm sure Zelri will be fine and will love her little sister to bits and pieces. Are you planning anything special for her for when you come home? I am buying Colby a big fire engine to give to him from the baby. Also, I'm getting a box of little presents so that when I'm busy with the baby and he is desperate for attention, he can choose one and it's his special new toy. Hoping that works.

Morning Ladies

I am so scared right now and just want to :cry: I am starting stress about leaving Zelri and giving birth to this one. She has become so attached to me the last 2 weeks it is not even funny. She want to be picked up 95% of the time, I feel like I am a bad mother cause I am having another baby. Feels like I cant do it :headbang:
I am feeling sorry for myself today :laugh:

Hello All

Hope you are all well..

Just running by quick wuick.. We have moved offices so things are a bit hectic at work at the moment..hence me being a bit scarce...

How are you all doing? How are the toddlers? And the preggy fairies?

We had a great weekend..cant believe our kiddies are getting so big! We were at a braai on Saturday night and came home at about 10h45..L proceeded to sleep till 10:10 am the Sunday so we had a nice lay in... was so nice!

Will come pop by soon again.

We have decided that Weiss will be called Edrich!!! Our LO just had a name change last week!! His names will be Friedrich Albert, but will be called Edrich!!!

We are doing great! Backache is better, I don't sleep with the pregnancy pillow. It feels if I have slept with the pillow, I got this pain in my legs.

My hospitalbag, goodies is bought... Still need to pack the bag :-( My next appointment is Wednesday!

Vision - glad things are good on your side! Sorry about the ms still, but it will soon dissapear, I hope for your part! When is your next appointment? YOu must enjoy your holiday in 2 weeks time... Wish we can go on holiday, but ai, I hope next year!

Deja so glad things are going well in your life. LOL at Nienke swimming on your back - they physio told me swimming would ease my neck and shoulder pain but my parents in laws pool is still too cold :)

Sheesh Lizel that is a lot of money to have to pay in! They should let you use Netcare for this pregnancy since that is what you thought you were paying for. You should really complain - with the new consumer law you have more rights :)

Skitter it is good that she is taking these steps on her own - you never know alot of toddlers regress to being a baby again once the new baby is born ;) YOur pics are stunning - you really look beautiful!!!

Sumayad it sounds like you guys had so much fun at gold reef city - I am so jealous I missed it :)

Deja my brother didnt want children - he has an eye problem and was so worried he would pass it on to his child. His wife wanted children and so I suppose she just convinced him cause now they have a LG born last week :)

AFM had a nice weekend - went camping for a night on saturday with my SIL and family - bekah had a ball being outside all the time - she was exhausted by last night.
I still have MS - not hectically bad but get so nauseous throughout the day and dont feel like eating a thing where with Bekah I would eat a horse and feel better :laugh:
We are going to the fish river sun in 2 weeks time - cant wait to see what Bekah thinks of the sea - when we went to the seychelles she was only 10 months old.
We are staying over in Bloemfontein the one night though cause I dont want to drive 12 hours straight with madam - she can barely make 3 hours to my mom :)

Whats news with everyone?
