well this is just a quick post before b wakes up any miinute..

ok, so my baby girl is in so much pain, she wouldnt drink the anti-viral for the chicken pox when she started on friday and now she is living in hell... i read in america they have chicken pox parties and i thought thats just sick, but now im starting to realise why, let your child get it when they small and young, its just way worse when theynolder, jolene has the stuff in her mouth in her throat, she is suffering terribly high fvers which burn her up, 39.6, its no joke, she shivers and shakes from the pain and the fevers. she can hardly talk cause her tongue so wollen, but let me tell you she opened her mouth very quickly fro the anti-viral this morning,c uase she is in so much pain now. dr wants to admit her so that he can do the anti-viral through iv but luckily she is drinking it now so we saved...
bards has chicken pox too now, gave him anti-viral last night too, he has a total of about 6 spots, get 1 every 12 hours about, hee hee, no fever no itch that i know, he not moaning, so thats why i say so much better when they small...
for all of you wanting to do the chicken pox vacc, its only a 70% cover, your child can still get it. and if they do get pox there is meds to calm it down so why waste R700...

so we should get bards immunity levels today but i KNOW he fine!!!

Things went well on Friday with BF. We talked and now we both know things need to chang within both of us, the fault doesnt just lie by him, but with me too. Not that I can excuse what he did, but I think we will be fine. The Shrek movie was so cute, Jaydon wants to go watch it again. Will have to buy the DVD for him.

Deja, shame man, sorry N is battling with her teeth. I also cant wait for this week to end. Im only having a 3 day week. Took Thursday for Kyles birthday off and Friday. What you giving N for gastro/throwing up?

Marijke, Sounds like you had an awesome weekend. Congrats with those new teeth. I was looking at that post you had on the purity. I must say that this whole weekend, Kyle refused to eat purity. I think he just hates teh taste now that he is eating the good stuff with us.

Lonie, are the homeopathic vaccinations the same as the normal ones and are they just as effective?

Went and bought Kyles prezzie yesterday, its a little train that he can ride on. Got buttons that you press to make noises like a train and has a hooter and you can charge a battery and it can drive by itself. It looks like Kyle has nearly all his teeth. Just got 2 spots open at the top and 2 spots at the bottom left. Im so glad he is getting them all now, less problems later.

Morning all

Thanx for the bday wishes fo Arwen, she has also been sick since last Thursday. But had a good bday, had a party at school and cake at home on saterday.

Dad did have a weekend pass and we took him back this am hopefully just for this week and then he should be home for 2 weeks before work.

Hello everybody else....

Good morning,

Nothing much to report this side. B now has 5 teeth and started saying pappa yesterday, needless to say hubby is so chuffed and can't stop faffing with his little girl. We went to the aquarium yesterday and she loved looking at the fish and playing in the sandpit. She wanted to ride on the frog thingy but hubby didn't have a R5 and I wanted a souvenir family photo but didn't have R30 either (not for lack of having money, just nothing smaller than 100's)

I guess next time we'll be going to butterfly world, hubby hasn't been there yet.

My parents are coming back today so I'll be going to their place, B missed her granny. Everytime we go to feed the cat she looks lost because my parents aren't there.
