Nadia, you are not over reacting, I totally agree with you that your hubby also needs to spend time with L when he is sick, I get so p-off with my hubby because when Z is sick he is very clingy, and I can't do house work or even cook. But I'd atleast like hubby to offer to help out in other areas, instead he will watch tv and when I say that he must take Zia then he says "I can't help it if he wants his mother"...........You know about a month ago I actually just left, I took my child and booked myself into a hotel just for one night.....well atleast we spoke about it and he helps out now......

Justine, you travel allot hey, it must be exhausting to come home at 6 and still attend to the boys, I'm holding thumbs that you get the job, the boys will def benefit from it..............Nice deal you got on the Huggies, was it the Jumbo pack?

Skitter, how are you feeling dear friend? What's the weather like there now?

Nadia, nope I dont need to worry where to find something for her theme that's there problem L does have 2 parent and I feel the same way as you. I have to 80% of the time do the dirty jobs, while hubby gets to have all the fun with Zelri. Not nice

I'm feeling better today. Actually ate FOOD last night (and chocolate, although I was jumping up and down after every bite cause it burned my tongue SO MUCH haha). Migs' chest sounds rough, at least her eyes cleared up.

Justine will be holding thumbs that you get the work! Migs also gets very dry cheeks with change of season, the dermatologist said we must use SBT Lipocream. So far it works? I'm not sure wether the wetwipes will make dry skin worse? Isn't there soap and chemicals in wetwipes? I might be wrong though.
You got a nice special with those nappies!!

Sumaya yes I know..I'm SO lucky to be able to work from home! I'm thankful every morning when I wake up and realize I don't have to go out in the cold!

It's horrible when you have to take off work the whole time when L is sick. Your hubby seriously have to take off and look after L next time when he's sick!! Nappies or not!

Morning Pat, Lagbarh and anyone else i missed mwah

Hi to you all!!!!
Sorry of being away, but this past few weeks was hectic.... First the business was crazy and I needed to sort stuff out for Leon, then I was making the duvet cover for Luwan's roon, then we went to Harties from Wednesday last weet till Sunday! That was really lekker - I enjoyed the time off! On Thursday Leon was doing his Masters and my MIL, Luwa and I went shopping - that was dissapointing, because we saw so many nice cloths, but not our sizes... Argh that is so unfair! We went to Jasmyn - what a pleasure!! On Friday we went to Brits again!! Had Breakfast at the Wimpy! Luwan enjoyed spending time with Oupa - he has bonded with his Oupa - the whole weekend he was following Oupa and walking around the farm! Think my FIL enjoyed it! Luwan started to "cheers" he says "dish" It is so sweet!! Also Oupa all the way! My SIL was also there on Friday to Sunday! I played with her baby and we was actually talking!!! Just shows, babies can change a person! Hope it stays this way!

Yesterday Luwan's bed arrived! So I made his room!!! I'm actually proud of saying I did make that! There is now a personal touch. He loves his room!!! (Pics on FB) Now the spare room is a complete mess - hope to get it sorted by the end of the week...

We are still doing the swimming, but this morning the lady had to cancel. The pools heating pump burned out last night so the water was not heated... This morning it was about 23 degrees..... Eish, that is freakin cold! Luwan was so dissapointed, he started crying till I almost got home it is approx 10km from there. The whole day he was difficult, but couldn't understand. Went to gym tonight and he swam in that pool 31 degrees... He was another child! He is addicted to swim, so winter swimming here I come!!

I have read some of the posts in detail, but please excuse for not doing personals...

Justine, that is great about the nappies! I used Johnsons oil spray, does not make skin oily at all and helps in the winter months

Nadia, you have the right to be upset, I would be too. Hope you and hubby can sort it out so he can see your point of view too. Hope L is better soon

Justine, that is a great deal with the huggies gold! I will not have a party for L wither as his birthdday is in oour month of fasting.

Lagarbah.. L doesn't watch much tv - mainly teletubbies and then not longer than 10 minutes a time..

Think I will probably stay home with L tomorrow just to make sure he is 1000%.. Argued with hubby earlier..am I being unreasonable asking him to also take time off when L is sick? I have taken off about 10 days with L alone this year (okay probably only 5 or 6) but stiLl he has never taken time off!! Then he has the audacity to ask me who must change L's nappes if he stays with him - this is because he doesn't change nappies...

Sorry for the vent guys..just irritated! I mean L has 2 parents!
