I have thought about this alot..I really hate the fact that I have to drop Mignione off in a creche and not be able to spend time with her, but I also don't think I can sit at home the whole day with no adult conversation. I think the perfect solution would be to be able to work from home, and send Mignione to creche only in the mornings (and maybe keep her at home in the winter). Unfortunately I don't have much of a choice..we need my income so I just have to MAKE this work.

I think I need to put in a day's leave for Mignione's bday. (can just see my boss's face if I ask him for a day leave!!).

I feel like I need to explain. I sound like a tired old hag who complains a lot!

I really love being home especially now that it's cold and I don't have to go out in this weather or drop B off somewhere. Or (sorry Marilu and Charlene to a degree) struggle with constant sickness from creche bugs. I'm here for all the firsts and do totschool with B, watch her learn and play and demand feed and blw.

I feel though that motherhood is full of high highs and low lows and when I'm busy - like sending an email which my BOSS (you know who you are) demands NOW and B switches off the computer plug/restarts the computer or tugs on my arm so I can't type then it gets iffy. Or when I need to go do the VAT (minimum of 5 hour job) and I can't get anyone to look after her (my options are hubby and my mother) Or when she smears cookie gwap on the floor I just washed....hmmm! But you catch my drift

Lizel i'm sorry to hear about hubby's uncle. Shame a lot has passed on hey, how is your hubby doing? Will keep the family in my prayers.

Hubby's uncle just died this morning. I dont really remember how he looks. This last 2 years alot of people we know died. First my best friends father, then my FIL, then BIL commited suiced in 2008. Last year my grandmother and hubby's grandmother and this year his uncle.
