Adele, Wow you had a lovely wedding, and you and hubby come a long way hey. Was Tyren an honeymoon baby, I see you got married late in 2008?

Ladies that story is just sooo heartbreaking,, She is so brave to even type that, my thoughts and prayers are with her and her family..

Thank you all for the advice, Deja MIL has been giving him probiotics and it seems to be working, I phoned now can could here him chatting in the background, so he is doing much better, Thank you all...

Hubby and I met through my best friend dating his best friend. I was not into him at first because I just came out of a hellish relationship and a guy was the last thing on my mind. Although he would e-mail, phone and even visit me I didn't give him chance. He made me laugh allot so I just enjoyed his company. This friday in September in 2004 I finally agreed to go on a date with him, he would pic me up at 7, but on my way home from work I was involved in an accident (really ugly accident) Obviously my phone was off and he kept trying to get hold of me, he thought that I stood him up not knowing I was fighting for my life in hospital. My best friend only told him the Saturday morning about the accident and he rushed to my bedside, and stayed with my throughout my recovery. We've been together ever since :-)

Oh my word, I just read Huggles' birth story, it is so, so sad. My heart goes out to her. She is so very brave!

We dated for almost three years, when his mother succedeed in breaking us up. He lived here in Kempton PArk, and I lived in Meyerton. Then my mother decided to move us to Kempton as she worked in Midrand. Note, me and hubby always remained friends, then we sort of started seeing eachother again, when his darn sister kept on running to me with lies about him, and silly me believed her, and left him, and out of pure spite, I got engaged to another man, someone who liked me, and when I was single, he jumped at the opporutnity. WE were engaged for about 10months, and decided to move intogether two months before the wedding, I thought things couldn't be more perfect. When we moved in, he turned out to be even worse than Shaun (Audri's husband in Egoli). BUT silly me thought, I must stay with him. LUCKILY 3 weeks before the weddig he got cold feet and didn't want to get married anymore, and told me over the phone. when he got home that afternoon I was gone. I moved back with my parents... Then after a while me and hubby started going out again, but only as friends, 6 months later, we were more in love than ever, and he said he was sooo scared he would lose me, and we should move in together, I thought ok, well this is good, becoz then I get to know him before marrying him, in case he also turns out to be a wife beater. LOL. We lived together for one year, one night I was busy painting our new kitchen cupboards, and in walk hubby with my longhaired Dachshund pup and goes on his knees!! I got my, hubby and the puppy full of paint, but said YES!! LOL

Cinds, good luck, seem as if they keep messing up and you have to worry about it?

Sumayad, I have no idea. And give Zia some probiotics. It might settle his tummy.

Here's our meeting story-WARNING. It's long.

My hubby and I met on his parents farm (2001). I was best friends with his sister, he is four years older than me. I was in matric and went to visit Lindi on the farm. I always heard of her brother because some of our friends were in love with him.
Anyway, I remember seeing him and thinking "we will marry one day". I never worried about it again, it was just one of those "uitgemaakte sake". We kissed that night and went horseriding the next day. We then sms'ed each other but I was still a very wild child and couldn't be bothered with a boyfriend far away. We saw each other a few times in between but it never developed into a relationship.
Lindi and I went to London in 2002 and hubby came in 2003. We would go visit him a lot and there were these sparks when we were together. Everyone could feel it! He would just STARE at me and I would look up and we'd lock eyes. We kissed again one Valentine's Day. He was in the kitchen and I came into the kitchen, walked up to him, we kissed and then we went and watched TV with the rest as if nothing had happened.

THEN late in 2003, we all went to Teneriffe. We were forced to sleep in the same room by Lindi (by this stage myself and she were fighting horribly) because she shared a room with another friend (enemy).

Anyway, Dev left Teneriffe on the Sunday, I was suppose to leave the Friday. The Monday was so horrible, I just missed him and Lindi and I were still fighting. I phoned him up, told him I'm coming to him, booked my ticket and he met me at the airport on the Tuesday. I stayed with him for the week and we have been together ever since! I still remember we listened to a song going "mama mama, talk to your daughter for me" about how the man loves the daughter. I can still remember him leaning on the rails as I came out the airport.
