Cinds, I think it's one of those dirty little parenting secrets that no one warns you about and even if they do you think it can't be THAT bad :)

We have the same problem and nothing seems to keep her interested during a nappy change, i want to change to pull ups cause she is happy to stand but the moment she must lay down oh my word!

And dont talk about at night when she must get dressed or undressed to bath! its a mission of note, i thought i was the only one.

Oh yes, the only time we don't have moaning is when we make a big fuss about her sticking her own arms through, but then she still goes silly with the pants. I think I have a nudist on my hands!

Deja, moan is a bit of an understatement. We have tears and screaming every evening and 90% of nappy changes. Sorry to those who don't agree but this child I will try to get out of diapers during the day when the summer starts at the end of this year!

Hi BabyJap, so glad you enjoyed your time at home. So sweet of Q wanting to shower with his daddy. I also give Nienke a bit of cow's milk over her cereal.

Ha-ha-ha Sumayad, that is so funny that Z is afraid of his slippers. Ag shame, man.
I work from 9-5 but because of the nature of my work, I am suppose to be "on call" for 24 hours every third week. This means if there is an accident, murder, break-in at 1am, I have to go out. I am in a tight spot, because my work description does not fit my lifestyle anymore. I also work every third weekend, on call 24/7 for the whole weekend and then work a full day Sunday.

Sumayad, seems like you have a difficult one there with regards to the party. Don't know what to suggest, but I would prefer only one-year-olds and younger at N's party.

Nienke eats the whole evening when I am there. I give her food to play with and then she feeds it to the dog. I try and give her food at around 5pm and again at 6:30. She then gets milk at 7:30 and sleep.

Marijke, is B ook moeilik as jy haar aantrek? Nienke moan ELKE LIEWE AAND VAN HAAR LEWE as ek haar aantrek!

Sumi, I agree with Marijke and Sumayad. Nienke has "crawling pants" that I buy at Pep and Ackermans and she wears them at home. They are always dirty and full of dog hair. I keep her "nice" pants for when we go out or get visitors.

Vision, great holiday photo's! I am so wishing for a holiday at the moment and dont think its going to happen anytime soon..
Marijke, shame man, seker n stamp op die wang of iets? Ons het nie matte in ons huis nie (net los matte) so as Amber val is dit lang huilies. Sy het ook al van geboorte n ogie wat dra agv traanklier en het soms hierdie puffy ogies of trane, veral as sy siek is..
Ek dink Pumpkin patch het die mooiste klere ooit, maar ek betaal beslis nie daai pryse nie..veral nie net vir n paar maande nie!
Deja, ag nee man daai vrou is simpel..het sy kinders?
Marilu, bly M slaap nou beter, A drink so 4 - 5 bottels elke dag van 125ml elk en daarby Pap by die kleuterskool en middag ete, 15:00 kry sy vrugte en Yoghurt en 17:30 aandete.
For A first birthday we going to have mostly family and there is no other kiddies. I do want to bake a cake and do something!
Shame A is going for her Measles injection tomorrow, just phoned the clinic and she is getting the prevenar aswell..
