Marijke i'm thinking of going the same route but i want to have something for her 1st bday, but we'll see how it goes.

Marilu i'm not creative either thats why i'm looking at places that do everything! Even the party packs.

JoyP..Welcome to the site :) And congrats on becoming a SAHM and on your LO's toothies :)

Vision, I'm also thinking of doing the Nido thing. I've got hectic hayfever and diary products makes it worse, and because M has got a constant runny nose I don't want to make it worse by giving her cow's milk. Jip, I think asking your paed about milk vs Nido for R is a good idea. Do you have to cut out all diary products cause of your allergy? That must be hectic! I LOVE my cheeses and yoghurt and milk in tea and coffee :)

Aarghh..party plans...(haha)..I'm not creative AT ALL and so indecisive about a theme so I haven't planned anything yet! I also can't decide wether to do it at home or at a party place? Maybe cause there's going to be more adults than kiddies at R's party you can do it at home? My problem is that Renier has a big family with lots of kiddies..and how are they going to be kept busy at my house?

Vision, I'm just going to bake a cake and perhaps cupcakes and have partypacks for the kids, only going to make it family and a couple of friends, so it won't really be any different than my own birthday a couple of weeks ago

Marijke i havent given B any other porridge other than purity porridge! I htink i'm going to start her slowly on something else.

Jesse has max 4 bottles a day, normally weekends its only 3 and her last bottle is at 7pm every night she gets her next at 7.30 the follow morning. But she drinks 225mls and leaves about 40mls in the bottle

I started getting quotes for parties vision and i'm looking for indoor venues and i'm on 15 kids already so i have started.

Welcome JoyP - LOL at your LG's "fangs" :)

Cinds now i also want a blueberry muffin :(

Marilu I was thinking of giving Bekah Nido? What do you think is best. I am a bit worried about my milk allergy getting passed onto her. I think I will ask the paed at her 1 year check up.

So how is everyone doing with the party plans. I have no idea what to do. Should i have it at home or go to a venue. I dont know many babies or small children so the bulk will be adults???

Marilu, B has a bottle at 7, 11, 3 and 7, most of the times she leaves more than half of her 3pm bottle and we just top it up for 7pm. Of the 7 and 11 bottle she leaves enough to make half a bottle then sometimes at night she will have half a bottle. So that makes (in quantity) 3 - 4 bottles in a 24 hour period.

I give her weetbix at 10am with normal milk, so I think I'll slowly replace her formula with regular milk after her first birthday and just start with a multivitamin
