Hi,jong die tand is nog nie uit nie, ek het maar bietjie Vidol opgesit, die kleuterskool juffrou se sy was bietjie moeilik vandag. Toe ek by die huis kom sien ek sy het nie haar melk gekry nie, GMPF! nou wonder ek hoekom sy moeilik was,, gelukkig kry ek haar 14:00! Hoe gaan dit met Bardon?

wat is nuus jou kant lonie? hoe gaan met amber, is daai tand al uit?

Charlene, I am so sorry to hear about Bardon, I hope they sort him out so that he can come home, did the Dr say anything on how long he has to stay?
Binks, I hope that the morning sickness is now gone..when are you going for a scan / Dr visit?
Deja, ek moet se ek het noggal heel anders gevoel te ek ophou borsvoed, dit was assof al my irritasies en gevoelens net so omgedraai het..dink dit is die hormoon prolactin wat simtome soos pms gee: low sex drive, gewig optel ens.

Hi to all the other mommies!

i have never in my life seen my little boy cry as much as he has these past 2 days. the only way to get all the gunk out is by sticking pipes down his nose and sucking the stuff out, its aweful and as far as im concerned child abuse but i know its for the best, only prob is whatever virus he has is just making more mucous, after they have sucked him its all empty and he sounds fabulous, 1 hour later he has mucous/snot/pleghm galore!!
they got 1 test back so far and its not a bacterial infection, so they know its def a viral infection, now just waiting to see if its RSV, different viruses do and make different amounts of mucous, yuck! but what happens when it goes in the lungs like he has then that which is lying at the bottom of the lungs can actually make bacterial infection, so dr has started him on antibiotics, which he wnted thru iv, but i said rather not, so what they do then is they numb the area with emal patch for a hour then inject it into his leg, but it burns like crazy, he cried so much. its only once a day though. the drip is more sore and sometimes their tiny veins are so small and narrow it blocks up and then they have to re-do the drip, no thanks.
now we still waiting for other results and allergy tests.

also the cutest thing happened: when dr and the nurse came round this morning, bardon was kissing me and hugging me, so dr says he is inqusitive to see the allergy tests, so i said yes me too, so he says yes he thinks bardon is allergic to me, i said no way he loves me too much, he said yes, but its from loving and being in his mommy's arms too much, and at that moment bardon plants a sloppy one on my lips, the nurse laughs and says, its always a first baby syndrome, dr starts laughing and says umm.. this is her 3rd, we both burt out laughing from the shock on this woman face.

Justine, I don't really think there is a way that you can really teach them to use their legs. It's like their brain has to click on it's own. Like B, she use to clap hands in the most perculier way, she slapped her wrists together and her hands just flapped about and we showed her so many times. Then last week tuesday I think, she was sitting on the floor and just started clapping out of nowhere for nothing really.

B has one of those walker play things (like a walker for old people, just with toys ) and she can walk behind it but when you call her she goes on her bum and crawls to you. Think it just takes time. My sisters boy (who is 11 days older than B ) still can't stand too well and struggles to pull himself up. Amazing how different they all are.

It's quiet on here today? Where's Cinds?

Justinek, sorry to hear that Kyle slept bad last night:( That's quite a long stretch for you to stay awake with him Are you happy with your new house? Hope so
I took M's dummy to the creche but they said she was ok without it About Kyle and walking..has he got a walking ring? M also didn't know how to use her legs before she started walking Maybe hold his hands and guide his legs one step at a time?

Vision, sounds like you guys had the perfect 'vacation'! So cute that R loved the water..wish we also had calm oceans without those HUGE waves. Geez..didn't know that they were so expensive? How did you keep R busy on the plane? Can't wait to see the pics!!!!! Congrats on R's toofies!!

Marilu, Kyle didnt sleep well last night. He woke up at 12:30 and only went to sleep at 03:30, so Im exhausted today. Luckily I have tommorow and Wednesday off to rest.

Adele, sorry about the moving not going well. We are also moving this weekend. The house we are living in was up for sale and we decided we are not going to wait until someone is interested before being kicked out.

Marilu, Do you think she will cope without teh dummy? If you can find a daycare centre with maybe 6 babies max, it would be perfect. Kyle has only 6 babies in his class and hardly gets sick. Hope she gets better soon

Sumayad & Deja, sorry you guys are fighting with your hubbies. I also sometimes feel like giving up on my relationship, we are not married but then I know I dont want my hildren to grow up between 2 homes so I try give the extra effort. Im not saying you guys dont but I think men dont actually understand us most times and just need that extra push, well in my case, it is.

Vision, your holiday sounds amazing. Would love to see the pics. 6 teeth, thats so cool. I think the reason Kyle didnt sleep well last night is cause another one of his teeth is coming out so it will be 7 in total. I hate teething.

Binks, hows baby no 2 doing?

Kyle pulled himself up against the lounge suite last night and moved to the coffee table. He turned around and actually let go. He wasnt holding anything so I thought this is our special night that he starts walking, but no, he just stood there. How do I help him understand he needs to move his legs to go anywhere?
