Deja and Sumayad I dont completely understand where you guys are coming from but I can understand that you would feel unappreciated.

I think when we become moms it takes over our worlds and other people also just start to see us as moms and just ask us how the baby is etc.

I found this after I had Bekah - everyone had always said how am I feeling and then it changed to just her. It is not a bad thing but it can cause us to feel like we have lost who we are and now we are just .... mom.

It really is a hard adjustment and I hope you guys work it out. Fatigue and work etc just escalates the problem.

Jana I think it is great that you want to get help cause the happiness of your marriage and you and your DH as people is important for Nienkes development too

We had the best time in the Seychelles!!! It is really such a stunning place. I will post some pics tomorrow if I remember

It was so hot and we just swam and played on the beach all day. Rebekah LOVES water. All she wanted to do was swim. It is nice in the sea cause it is mostly flat so no big waves knocking you over.

I had to get over my fear of dirt cause madam wanted to play in the sand and eat it

We went for such nice walks and they had a street market the one evening which was so much fun! The local people are so friendly. It is very expensive as tourism is their biggest market and they cater for the $ and euro. Like one Margerita pizza costs about R80.

There were so many people from other countries and it was funny hearing all the languages.

The beach is beautiful and it is right by the hotel you just walk out a gate.

Bekah was good as gold. She started teething and now has 6 teeth and I think more are coming.

The plane ride was uncomfortable cause I had to hold her the whole time while she slept but not so bad

Everyone loved Rebekah and chatted to her and she charmed them all!

Marilu, I really hope you can find a wonder daycare or nanny. My friend got a lady to look after her baby, she basically needs to clean the house to, but her main focus is the baby and they simply adore each other, All the best with the hunting though.

Deja, hubby and I are exactly the same, speak only when required, we also annoy each other and I think he takes me for granted and doesn't appreciate what I do.

Ek het normaal geboorte gegee so dan is my baba seker die uitsondering Die arme dingetjie bly siek..haha Hopelik sal die grommets nou die oorinfeksies at least keer!!!!

Miskien moet ek net bietjie rustig wees en wag en kyk hoe dit nou gaan met M. Ek moet maar wag dat sy gesond word en dan kyk hoe dit gaan. Ek gee nie om vir 'n snotneus nie, maar hierdie ore wat haar so gepla het was 'n nagmerrie. Hopelik is dit nou oor en verby!!!!

Skuus dat ek so inchip. Sebastiaan is by n skooltjie in Paarl waar daar net 4 babas is en hy is omtrent twee keer n maand op antibiotika. Pead sê dit sal beter raak as hy twee is en noem dit die daycare siekte.

Volgens n klomp berigte en ek weet nie wat ek glo daarvan nie, maar dit het baie te doen ook met Pro biotics. Babatjies wat deur keisersnee gebore word het n tekort aan pro biotics en sonder aanvullings sal hulle meer geneig wees tot siek word.

Baie stertke met die daycare soekery. dis mergellend en aaklig.

wat van as jy n nanny kry wat kan skoonmaak en kan kos maak? vir R2500?
