Justine, what is the 12-month injection?

Ok...I will never skel Nienke again...She was standing by the plug (it had the plug protector thing in) and she turned on the plug. So I said very loudly "NIENKE" and she almost went blue from crying.
Big mistake. I now put the table in front of the plugs.

Am tired, couldn't sleep.

if i ask anyone for advice i get these really crappy answers like when i had children i did it all by myself and i also had 3 children and they were all sick together and i coped and bla bla bla, argh!!! i hate people that are so self-obsessed that when i ask a question to help me they have to dive into their own sorrowful life.

Marijke, I dont sterilize anymore. I wash bottles and once they dry, pack it away. I just didnt see the point of doing it anymore once Kyle started crawling and as you say, carpets are much worse.
I also love buying things at PEP, they are so cheap and have the cutest outfits. I bought the boys tracksuits last weekend and only paid R 26.99 each. What a bargain.
:)

We are all fast approaching the 12 month mark, just wondering how many of you are taking your little ones for those 12 month injections? I dont think the government gives these ones, I think they private, but so damn expensive.

Oooh, let me tell you all this - I love shopping at pep. I'm stocking up on stickers because it seems all little girls go through a sticker craze or perhaps I'll use it for reward charts or home made cards etc. Now the stickers at pep are R2.99 or R3.99 but the girl that works behind the counter is in weekend mode and only scanned half the stickers I bought - see me run from the store! :)

Actually bad I know, but hey, who cares!

Marijke I still sterilize but I think I do it more out of habit than cause of Germans cause I dont sterilise her toys that are on the floor?

Your sister is amazing can she come to JHB for a day :)

Hello everyone.

Lucky that you didn't chat as much after I went to the shops this morning :)

Love all the pics Adele and Sumaya congrats on Zia standing!

I found my sister in town and we had coffee and toast and went shopping - if you ever want to find bargains you should take her with! Bought B nice PJ's for R14.99 haha!

Wanted to ask, how many of you still sterilize bottles (those who breastfeed shouldn't answer - Jana!) A family friends LB turned 1 last weekend and her doctor K*ked her out from a dizzy hight because she still sterilizes his bottles etc

I swear after his Bday party she placed all his toys in dettol or something because both B and her cousin were drooling over his toys. I understand another friend who still does it for her son because he has a heart condition. Both hubby and my sister said they don't really understand why anyone does it for so long, can a cleanly washed bottle really be dirtier than crawling around on the floor? Even if you wash the floor, carpets are still just as gross.

Just wondering. Shame poor LB who turned 1 last weekend, his granny made him a tractor cake and he wasn't allowed to even touch it. After the party granny didn't know what to do with the untouched cake that she spent so many hours on! What a shame.

Was thinking just now in the store I should make B's party bear themed because she goes bananas for a bear :)
