Happy anniversary Lizel! Seems like most of the July mommies have their anniversary in March :) Great minds, I say :)

Jana, I don't think you should worry about N too much. She is just miserable with the teething and things will sort itself out, just grab a "not sleeping too well" mommy t-shirt on your way out the door :) and join the club!

Claire, glad to hear that things are going better with Colby.

Cinds, I really hope you feel better soon and that J doesn't catch what you have!

Charlene!!!! Whats your news?!

And Sumaya, you have a little ladies man on your hands! Too cute :)

Ok, I was wrong, our topic is still hidden from the public. I have to try to figure out how to ONLY hide our topic, because the whole "baby" part is now hidden. Have emailed " my guy".

Claire, I feel much better, I don't feel "removed" anymore. Don't think the Egnolyl actually worked. I felt that I had to be with my baby at all costs. I felt so guilty for working and that I was not with her. I only wanted to be with her every second of the day and it felt as if the whole universe conspired to keep me away from her and why, when the only thing I want to do is look after her, am I not allowed to. Why can some women stay at home and I can't. I was obsessed with it. I still want to stay at home eventually but I have accepted that I have to work at least for another year and then I can review my situation. I still only want to be with her but I know she is well looked after and by working I can give her diapers and clothes and food and toys and a new car seat.

She got a new car seat, facing forward. I love it and she loves it even more! We only paid R300 for it at Reggies, because with Discovery you get 60 % off the car seat.

So glad Colby's tooth is through. I am now going through what you have been going through with him.

Hey Claire :) I am so glad the solids are going well! Congrats on Colbys new tooth :) To hide text you select the icon on the toolbar when you are posting a reply next to the different colour blocks (middle of toolbar) and then you post the text you want to hide in between the "hide words". Hope it makes sense :P

Cinds shame man - hope you feel better. We miss you :)

Deja shoo Nienke was awake alot (for her cause she usually sleeps thru :) ) Must be the teething?

Sumayad glad you had a good weekend... sounds like your little man loves the ladies

Lizel HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!! Hope you have a WONDERFUL, ROMANTIC lunch with your DH

mashudu, you can add a picture when you reply, there is an option to 'select image file to attach', then you just find the picture you have on your computer. This way you can only add one per reply. If you want to add more you could go to photobucket and upload your photos there and then just past the [img] code in the message body when you reply. The photo has to be less than 1MB or else it doesn't work. Hope you get it right!

To hide text, when you reply there is a button at the top that looks like a 2 people, next to 'text normal' and a colour. press it and type between the two hide brackets

Morning everyone!

Sounds like all the babies are teething again! It's so hard when they do. I finally gave Colby panado last night and then he slept through and this morning I felt and his third tooth is through! Which means number 4 is on it's way! This time I won't be so stingy with the panado. Poor baby!

Deja - maybe you should speak to your dr. about the way you feel? Do you feel better on Eglynol? That might be an indication that you do have a bit of PND. I've been wondering the same thing. Maybe it's just a phase we're all going through? I really miss my old life (not that I would give Colby back EVER) and feel like I'll never be able to do everything I used to. Wonder if we'll ever adjust?

Skitter - eish, that sounds hectic! I don't think I could cope with all the dust!

Vision - I agree! This weather sux! My washing will never dry!

Charlene - you can't come on and say you have news and then make us wait this long to tell us!!!! What news??? :P

Welcome Mashudu! Sounds like you have your hands full! When was you baby born?

Lizel - Z is too cute! I love the face she pulls!

AFM - The solids thing is going much better. We are on the second foods now and I have been giving him purity because I think it's more important to get him into a routine than to give him home-made food. He eats 3 times a day. How are your babies eating? What sort of a routine do they follow? I want to start giving him more protein now, any ideas?

As for the sleeping, I take each night as it comes. On Thursday night I am going to try sleep training again. Not looking forward to that!
