Marijke, ag moeder lyk my B is regtig baie slim. Kan nie glo sy was so moeilik op n tyd as dit met mense gekom het nie.

Deja, jy is nie die enigeste een nie ek dink n hele paar van ons was net so negatief oor alles gewees behalwe oor ons babas.

It is our anniversary today 2 years. Going out for lunch.

Marijke that is just tooooooo sweet that she barks with the dogs!!! I would laugh my head of if I heard bekah doing that I know what you mean with the being out of routine then they get overtired and fight sleep like mad. Bekah was totally out of routine on Saturday.

Marilu I am really praying that these meds will work for M as it is not nice for either of you.
Did you get some rest with your mom there or did you wake up anyway?

I went to have a look at my sisters boyfriends parent house on Saturday. It is in Hyde Park and is worth R25 000 000. It is huge and the kitchen was amazing. The main bedroom has a balcony that has a bath and shower and there is a bath and shower in the main room

Good morning girls,

We are doing okay this side, had the inlaws over for the whole weekend (which I dreaded but it turned out okay) B has changed so much and she now loves her granny. I didn't grow up with any family close by so I don't really understand how to cope with extended family. But heck she was hyper this weekend and Saturday evening she sreamed for an hour before finally going to bed and friday and saturday evening she woke up 4 times (after 12am, loads more before then) and going for naps were a nightmare. I wanted to keep her in routine but yeah, that didn't work.

She is such a busy body! And when she is tired you can't do anything with her, she just wants to stand. She fell in her walkingring friday, but anyway, wasn't that sore she just got a fright.

If you ask B 'hoe maak die hondjie' then she replies woef woef, or if Sasha is barking outside she stops and listens and woefs with her!

Deja, I've been wondering if I have the same problem with the PND, but I really think I should have my hormone levels checked.

About the PND, then I must have it too cause I really struggle to be positive about ANYTHING in my life! I think I must be really hard to live with to be honest Where's that Eglonyl?

About M's cough, I took her to the doc on Friday. He says that her cough sounds bad but that her lungs are still clear (dankie tog!). He gave me the option of antibiotics but said that he doesn't know wether it's a bacterial or virus infection, so he gave meds for a viral infection rather than antibiotics. If her cough isn't gone by this Friday after the meds, he's going to take X-rays and bloodtests to find out what exactly is causing the cough. She's sleeping HORRIBLY. My mom is back from Pretoria and staying by us until Wednesday, and she was up 5times with Mignione last night. She's still coughing but it sounds a bit better I think, not sure.

Paula ah no man sorry they dropped you. You are a great person for helping them out like this, dont know if I could have someone stay with me especially now with Rebekah? Shame man you must be so irritated with the dust you neat freak

It was Rebekah's sports day on Saturday and it was so much fun. Daddy had to push her in her pram and they got a medal. The mommies also had to run but I took it easy because some of those moms were scary and I didnt want to be run over

Got to play with my sisters baby who is a month old. I cant even remember that newborn phase, Rebekah is so full of life now and has such a personality. If we start lauging at something she joins in

Morning everyone

Wow, we had a great evening, Micheala slept through again! YAY! She went through three nights drinking every hour and was so difficult the whole next day. Hope this lasts, Im not used to little sleep.

The mosquitos are eating us up and we have a beehive on the porch! Other than that things are going well.

Jana, she is coming wednesday evening.....joy oh joh. Im quite mad at them, they had to do me a favour while in SA and dropped me completely....not nice.

Im also negative about everything, had PND after birth and never took anything for it and dont think its gone yet.....Some days are better than others though. But I think its because our lives has changed so much. We wnat to be with our babies 24/7 and also want to work and pressure from everywhere is not nice...hope this ,makes sense.

How is everyone else and the babies doing? One of these days they will not be babies anymore....scary!

We had a minor sand storm here, dusted like crazy yesterday because dust was EVERYWHERE! That will learn me not to open windows in a desert country.
