Marijke, wat's die storie oor die MMR injection?

Shoo..I've been busy for an hour and you guys chatted a lot..I'm missing out!!

Who said yesterday that their baba doesn't want pureed food anymore? Sumaya was it you? Mignione is refusing to eat pureed food for the past 2 days..and only with us, at the creche she's finishing ALL her pureed food but at home she wants to feed herself. And of course most of it lands on the floor..ai. I hope it's a phase she's going through and that she wants it again by this weekend..I didn't cook and freeze all that pumpkin and chicken and sweet potato for the birds you know?? BUT it's really cute to see her grab a piece (small piece) of chicken, chew it, and then spit it out.

I will definitely not be giving M egg yet Since the pregnancy I can't eat eggs at all..it gives me the most horrible stomach ache. So I'm scared it's going to do the same to M. Ai, the poor kid, I'm so paranoid she'll probably only be able to eat everything when she moves out of the house someday

No, possibly not but I'm so scared of the MMR injection, because of all the hype in America and the fight about it

I've never give J scrambled egg, i think i'm too scared.

So Marijke u dont really have anything to really worry about if she shys away from foods that she's allergic to...

I've given B some scrambled eggs a couple of times. She didn't have any reaction to it when it did go to her mouth but for the most part she isn't really interested in it, its the first thing she throws off her tray. Now I'm wondering if she just doesn't like it or if she has an allergy because they say BLW babies shy away from foods that they are allergic to.

That make two of us, Im suposse to give her egg yolk now but just to scard coz i saw what egg white did to her bum huge huge huge allergic reaction. I give her biltong to chew and cheese curls she chews them nice but then they soft. will try the finger foods

Finger foods like breads helps them to learn how to chew....Micheala is chewing very nicely. even gave her a baby corn and she chewed and ate the whole thing. Hope she outgrows the allergies!
