I have a bit of an issue, my son is starting to lie, like whenever I ask him if he did something he will tell me it was his brother (still a baby) or he will just say he did'nt do it...when I know for a fact he did.
How do I handle this, how do I teach him that it is simply not the right thing to do? I have tried explaining the difference between a lie and the truth, but it's not really sinking in..
Is is because he is scared of being punished? (I am not one to dish out hidings, although I raise my voice) Is he scared of me?
Is it because he sees this behaviour from someone else? Or from friends at school?
I know this must sound silly, but I do not know how to approach this issue..
does anyone have any advice?
