file facing the challenges of a 3 year old....

Joybaby, I hear you sister. Thanks for the kind words.

I agree with you with taking a break with the kids. We just have almost nobody to ask to look after our little girl if we need a break. I am trying to find a reliable babysitter, but if you work through an agency it is extremely expensive.
It really is a challenge to keep everything together if you don't have a support structure to help you take a break every now and then.

I often wonder how couples cope that imigrate to other countries with no family and friends without any domestic help? That must be a challenge.

ps: I am without domestic help as well :S

I need to make a plan!!

Hi Glowworm :)
I cant comment to your situation but just want to say that this motherhood thing is not for the faint hearted!

Always a challenge, never a dull moment. It seems no stage is easier than the last hey! And then adding another baby or two into the mix, as well as home stress, work stress, financial stress its amazing we're not in assylums!

Thinking of you and know that you're not alone!!!

Think we all need to send our kids to granny and grandpa for a week and go on a cruise!

First angel resting 25/06/2009 stayed with us a short 7 weeks but we still miss you.

I thought dealing with the challenges of a 2 year old was difficult...Boy, was I wrong!

I just need to vent a bit about our daily struggles.

We have moved into the arena of power struggles.

Tantrums subsided for a while, but it has returned again in full force.

Everything is a struggle. Everything needs to be negotiated first.

All my previous tricks and approaches seem to be inefective with a 3 year old!

I just wish I knew what was bugging her?

Anyway, I was just caught a bit off gaurd with the "new phase".
