What is the meaning of your Kid(s) names???

My husband is Sotho and I am coloured so our daughter has a name from each side.
I named her Taitum, (Tay for short) Cheerful, bringer of joy
DH`s sister named her Retshepile( Tshepi for short) ,We have Faith

Henko: Ruler of home

Ruben: Behold, a son

Henko was DH's name since i met him, so we knew its our first sons name. at the end of my pregnancy we saw Ruben and thought of changing Henko to Ruben. Well we didnt and then our 2nd child was a boy again - so Ruben it was. !

My sons names are Amara means Eternal beauty its greek and Nyiko means Gift its tsonga. i gave him nyiko his father gave him amara.

before i named my kids, i thought of what they meant to me, then tried to find a name that meant just that (if that makes sense!)

My daughter is Amal means "hope"; my son is Jayden means "God has heard" and my son to be born is Joaquim (pronounced Wakeem) meaning "established by God"

My son's name is Bryce Donovan.

Bryce (welsh): Strenght, valor
Bryce (irish gaelic): swift, alert or ambitious

Donovan because, firstly its my husbands fathers name but the meaning of the name is: brown-haired chieftain or dark warrior (which is ironic as he was born with a head full of dark hair)

The next baby - I don't know the sex yet but the 2nd name will be Alex (as that is my father's name), 1st names I haven't decided on yet.

Her 1st name Likamva(She is the future) I like Kamva(future) but wanted a different variation of the name so one day woke up and her name was Likamva this is while I was pregnant Her 2nd name my mom gave her Umi(short for Uminathi, HE(GOD) stands with us)

The name Liam is of Irish origin and it means determined protector / strong willed warrior. The Hebrew meaning is ' my people, i have a nation'. We chose Liam because DH wanted baby to have the same initials as his late granddad and Liam was the only name that we both liked. Also the meaning fits in nicely with our families.
