Good grief! I’m offline for a day and I’ve been left way behind! So long post following :
Sam: grrr how insensitive. You would think that a teacher would know better…odd. “cripple crawl” lol. I want to see that! Blourokkie!! lol. You better show him who’s boss..I’ve been putting off the dentist for months now – good luck..
Sorrel: I give Liam snacks during the day for him to practice with (biscuit, rice cake, soft fruit like pieces of paw paw and avo). At meals it’s a real combination. Depending on his mood I’ll start him on pieces and if I see it’s not happening I go over to pureed food. Mostly I start with some pureed food and then give him pieces to practice with. Tonight for example we had cream cheese on toast and pureed (lumpy consistency) fruit with almonds and yoghurt. Ha no way does he swallow his food easily! He won’t swallow meat yet – just gums it. Bread, pasta take a while to swallow. The fastest is the soft fruit/veg but even then it can take a while..and yes most of it still lands on the floor!
Charlotte: Looks like we have the same approach re feeding. Eczema I hadn’t thought of – I use the Annique rooibos detergent and softener. I can never get the creams to stay on his face as it’s directly below and around his mouth which is constantly wet. I looked at it closely today and it’s tiny red bumps. It’s also definitely bothering mom more than him..so it’s a good idea to make sure they learn the meaning of no from an early age - step no. 1. Lorelai’s first steps! My goodness we have some impatient Jan babies

That plan should make for an interesting read!
Your BF may have told you you’re crazy but c’mon you can’t tell me that he’s not at least a little intrigued…if I know men he’s counting the hours…
Kyoto: why did you take the pic down? It sounds like you have a real little live wire on your hands! I have a walking ring and use it more as another activity for baby to do rather than as a tool to assist baby in learning how to walk. Liam doesn’t really like it though – at the mo at least. I’ll try a little later when he can take more weight on his legs. And as for the controversy I maintain everything in moderation and anything in excess can’t be good. Your BF constantly looking for staff – what does he do? My partner is also constantly looking for staff

software programmers.
Aribeth: I’m so sorry – that’s bad! Hope you get sorted…and start putting together everything supporting your case. I used to be involved in this side of things from the company perspective and know how they can manipulate and do stuff that is not strictly legal or very much in that grey zone.
Looks like we’ve all got toothless wonders! Liam also hasn’t got any nor is he teething – well he’s not showing any signs of pain.
Kristin: hope u feel better and chat soon.
Jackel: welcome.
So question – how are your LO’s getting on with the four legged members of the family. Liam has 4 dogs for company – 2 Boerbuls and 2 Great Danes. They are just amazing with him especially the danes – gently take his arm into the mouth. Although I have to wash his hair every night as one lick drenches him

He’s fascinated with them though – constantly wanting to touch – and pull ears!
