thanks Voetjies!

I hope we are lucky - I had to go twice with Missy, she also wouldnt show us her face! But that was with the 4D company and we went back at no extra charge!

Did you also use the Storks nest for the clinic services? We are now using a private clinic in Garsfontein, but its getting expensive!

How was your goody bag?

Dischem now offers a baby bag in your third trimester if you join their Moms and Tots club. I joined last week, waiting to see! I actually used a lot of the samples for travelling and in hospital last time. I also ended up using some creams that I otherwise would never have tried!

hi MommyN,
I did my 4D at Netcare Pta East, and they were very nice and it looked like good quality. unfortunately my little one didn't want to show herself to us...
hope you are luckier than us with the 4D!

Thanks for the tips!

I am 26 weeks now, and will be booking my bed at my 4D scan at 28 weeks.

I was just wondering about the bag... with my first LG I used a private hospital that gave nothing. Luckily I still have tons of stuff left over (one of the advantages of having the babs so close together).

A 4D scan is also included in the package, does anyone know the quality of this? I was wondering if I should also book a 4D scan with a private company?

I will be using Netcare Pretoria East hospital.

thanks ladies. I am just going to pack my bag according to the list. it just seems that there's not a lot of stuff on the list i need to take for baby. like for example Shampoo is not on the baby list. i'll rather pack everything i think is needed. luckilly we are 5 min away from hospital so it's easy for hubby to just go and get the stuff

The bag you can buy at the pharmacy contains more or less everything you and baby will need fo you stay. It has linen savers, disposible panties, pads for mommy and toiletries for baby like wash, powder, cream, nappies, wipes basically all you will need except your clothes.

Most Netcare hospitals have their own pharmacies and you can get it there. It will cost you anything between R 300 and more.

It wasnt worth it for me so I just took the list the hospital gave me and packed my own things according to that list
