wow, Chris, you are doing great! I am sure that you are tired, and eina, but hang in there. Those aches and pains of pregnancy, tight feeling, stretching, swollen and puffiness, it all just vanishes after the birth. I was thinking htis morning, I am fine, just when I bend over or stretch, or something, I know it feels uncomfortable, but its amazing, after the birth, you forget it all! Ok, I had natural birth, but I think the c-section recovery is also different to the actual moans and groans of pregnancy, so really its not long to go! I know you thought the baba's may come this week, but they are so happy and comfy in the best mama's tummy! One day at a time!

Chris, the pics are gorgeous! You have done a marvellous job with the nursery and you are absolutely glowing! Can you imagine if you could get to 36 weeks... that would be really GREAT!!!

Multiple mommies - do you think you will let the baba's sleep together sometimes? What is the norm? Surely some of the time... hey?

Vix, hope your weekend wasnt too bad. Sorry about the sore boob. You had a really rough week! Hope all goes well with the Dr today. I am sure it will. I think you will still carry for at least another 2 weeks. Also, one day at a time. Although if you havent had swelling before, I would watch it now! But it has been hot! DId u get the trampoline? I got my order from Calora today, I actually forgot on Friday morning and went out... the delivery guy said he did come. Anyway, I really like the breast pads, but the silly bottle washer thing is a real waste of money, keeps falling apart, so I will be writing to them just now... whats this, my 4th complaint to a company in as many weeks...

Maryke, ooooh, I think you will be the first of us to "pop". Cant wait though! Hang in there, and I wish you peaceful and rest filled days! The baba's weights are very good! Good luck with the lady, hope she fits in well. I am sure you cant wait to move eventually - when will it be?

I am really glad I didnt bother with the Expo, just shopping at our local mall was a FULL day event for me! And I was exhausted. But I got a few things, nappies especially and Woolies promised to try source some things - did I post this on friday??? I think so... lets wait and hear.... they are on strike though so I am not holding my breath!

Yvette, sounds like you had a crazy weekend, shame man. Maybe the bribing thing is a solution? I dont know. Not easy! I wish I could bribe Missy to sleep..... I am terrible aren't I? Sterretjie - wow 9 days.... awesome! The hospital tour is always emotional... but when you are there it just seems ok. Well done for packing Inge's bag and thinking about yours... I have to try remember what to pack or find the list on the site. This time round, I am just too relaxed! Last time round, I also took 2 boxes and just added things to the boxes when I thought about it and then only packed about 3 weeks before due date, but on the morning of going into labour, I was still packing...

I never had an internal with Missy. I think the mid-wife did one when I was in labour to check how dilated I was when I got to hospital (7cm already). But I cant really remember. Does it hurt to check your cervix etc??? Oh dear, another thing to worry about...

I am really chuffed that my Dr is willing to let me go all the way to 39 weeks before we check anything - natural or if breech. Of course, as long as the placenta stays good, and the fluid is good too etc etc

Re stretch marks, funny, with Missy I had so many different kind of marks, stretch marks, skin pigmentation (my boobs loooked like they were dressed in army camoflage - ugly) and it all only disappeared just before I fell pregnant again. THis time, I have hardly anything, yet. Not even the line from my belly down...? COuld be hormone related, my body doesnt know itf its coming or going... or maybe its a LB on the way.

Well, AFM, had a BUSY weekend. DH fixed the curtain rail yesterday, and had to take all our curtains down in our bedroom so I washed and washed and then vacuumed... oooh, how I hate doing housework and not even getting a Sunday off! Is there anyway to keep the dust and dirt OUTSIDE rather than inside....?

Missy was really niggly. She had a fever on Saturday, and just sat on our lap in the afternoon - very strange... think its the molar teetch coming. Today she skipped her 9am nap and is now way overtired. Had a 20 min nap which doesnt help at all.... long afternoon ahead.

I unpacked her cupboard on Saturday, but couldnt sort everything out as she was niggly etc. So stuffed everything back into the cupboard, plus the Xmas and birthday shopping I did on friday (last time I'll be able to hide ANYTHING in her cupboard!!!LOL). But got rid of 2 boxes that were at the bottom of your cupboard and at least made a start.

The newborn clothes are now in the spareroom to be sorted in tiny, newborn, 0-3 months etc etc. Girls seperate from unisex. I wanted to buy the Sunlight baby washing powder, but read its not suitable for front loaders.... argh.... could I still use it??? And today my maching doesnt want to drain.... so.... please let it start working again just now.... its about 8 years old and not worth fixing I guess, but not right now, please! Chris, what machine do you have? You said it has the handwash cycle? Can you use hand wash powder in it then? I am thinking of getting a top loader if I get a new one. What does everyone like? Just so I can soak things overnight - toddlers and the garden.

Enough from me. Lots more to sort out today... oh, I washed the pram and baby car seat this morning, says ONLY SURFACE WASH but eventually it was so wet and I hosed it down, all seems ok though. Missy was helping a bit - so cute and of course sitting in the seat and rocking on the lawn... she doesnt have a clue what is going to happen and change in January!
